Maui..as good as it gets in my opinon.

Yeah he can ferry over there for $69 and save a shit load of money.

Shadow try Fla and attend some NCAA and or NFL football games.

Go the the track and find the casinos, hell what a honeymoon that would be,she will remember for a life time.

Crime ridden ratholes, if you stray off a mile in any direction outside of toursit zone your toast.

I'm Just going to take a Wild Guess here, and Say You Know Nothing about Any of these Islands.

Outside of the one thing in Aurba, with the Girl Missing. Low to No Crime
Also Being apart of the ABC Islands along with Bonaire which has NO CRIME at all. One of the Most Beautiful Islands I have ever been to.
And Home to where the Greatest Windsurfers in the World Train.

St. Maarten might Not be the same as Years ago, as most of the Shops are no longer Run by the Islanders. Still a Very Safe Place with Low to NO crime.

I have been to St. maarten about 18 Times
I Have Been to Aurba about 12 times
And been to Bonaire only 2 times, but planing on going back Soon.

On my honeymoon I watched Wayne Gretzky and the Rangers at 9am in Hawaii. Wife was not happy at all, but it was Gretzky's last game and I wasn't going to miss that. Shortly after that, I bent down to grab a drink from the minibar, split my head open on the TV as I stood up, needed stitches, and she was even more pissed off.

Head East Shadow....

Australia, NZ or Indo.

If I was out in the middle of the Pacific, I'd much rather head that way over Continental U.S, Mexico or Caribbean.

Punta Cana Dominican Republic is where i went. All inclusive resorts great beaches, lots of activities. The food was as good as anywhere ive been and it will cost half of hawaii. probably 400 a night or so.

Have been thinking about going there. I know that the price is pretty cheap compared to other islands. Where did you stay?

Las Ventanas and Ezperanza in Cabo are both gorgeous but are pricey

I have never done this shit before....gonna be late september....where is good? what is good? what is fun? what won't give me tuberculosis?
My wife and I honeymooned in late September in New England. Trees are in full color and weather is fantastic. Maine, New Hampshire, conn. Mass. Rhode Island,Upstate New York, Vermont. Talk about seafood... WOW .. Lobster and it's really as cheap as you will find anywhere ! Go to Maine and dine in the tiny town of Harpswell at Cook's Lobster House on Baileys Island. My all time favorite Restaurant and I come all the way from Oregon !

Next time your at Ventanas go to Espernaza at least for dinner - the resort is on par with Las Ventanas - and dinner out on the rocks by the ocean is off the charts - I guarantee your next wife will love it - also, dinner at the Hilton has one of the best views in the world - and for a wonderful massage try "Slow Hands" but don't let your wife no about that one

Went to Oahu on a 7 day all inclusive trip for ours. Absolutely amazing. 1 day went to Kauai, the rest on Oahu. Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay was my personal favorite. So many beautiful fish. I am 24 it was just a terrific time. Here is a link to the trip.

Joking, only one honeymoon, but my sister has been to Esperanza, and raves about it. It's on my short list.
As a side note, the Four Seasons down here in CR is off the hook.

Okay.....i guess not everyone here knows me....i live pretty close to hawaii so that is not an option. Continental US is actually a pretty good idea but i'm not sure she will be "thrilled" to be heading to somewhere we would normally go (i.e. vegas, california, etc.). I like the idea of a boat cruise but she gets sea-sick....i might take have her try on the sea-sickness patch but until she gets confirmation that she can stay on sea without vomit, I doubt she will go for that idea.

I would prefer to go somewhere that english speaking is pretty common because I do not know any other languages. Also, I live near the beach so although the beach is a wonderful idea, I would be more than open to places that don't focus around the beach setting.

Some great ideas so far....keep em firing boys....I need to get my mind off of gambling cause I'm getting hammered by these fucking teams.

why are people recommending caribbean resorts during september ??

nothing better than honyemooning with no power and huddled with the other guests when a CAT4 or worse is headed for you - LOLL

september is still hurricane season, and you just don't want to plan something as important as a honeymoon in the caribbean during that time of year. talk about getting things off on the wrong foot

aruba is safe, as others have said, b/c it's out of the hurricane belt -- but a hurricane that is in the area can still toss some rain that way
