Couldn't agree more McCauliffe was a train wreck. I think Dean will do a good job. He might be a little crazy but he's not a weazel like McCauliffe.

Dean Is A Nut-job And A Loose Canon. The Dems Have No Shot At Any Of Their Goals With This Screw-up In Charge Of The Dnc. Finding An Identity, Presenting A Message, Rallying Support To Win The White House.

I agree, good riddance to McCauliff, and a hearty hello to the new DNC chairman - "Screamin'" Howard Dean,

I think Howard will be a great chairman for the DNC and a boon to the RNC.

Republicans are in full hallelujah mode with the naming of Dean to DNC chair. As the old saying goes be careful what you wish for. I think Dean will prove you wrong. Just take a look at his track record in Vermont. Don't judge him by his run for prez.

this guy Terry seemed like a real slim ball and any direction the democrats will go has to be better than the past 4 years....We can only hope Dean can somewhat bring in a cleaner version of politics....

one would think that after the John Kerry debacle, the Dems would make an effort to move their party more towards the middle where mainstream america resides, but instead they want to go even farther left...:103631605

Please quit getting all your news from Faux. Dean is closer to the center than you realize, he's a true fiscal conservative having balanced a state budget successfully. You only know what you hear from Rush and Hannity, you'll continue to be misinformed.

Jinn -Since Howard left vermont, the governors mansion has been in the firm control of the Republicans. That is Howards legacy.
This guy is so far to the left that he scared the hell out of everyone in Vermont. Wait and watch!

i agree i think he has been totally missunderstood...It was amazing the grassroots movement he provided with all the young voters and the internet....

lets face it the Democratic Party is in the dump and we can only hope someone like him can trully give people hope...after all isnt Nancy Pelosi, Tom Daschle as bad as it gets from a democratic perspective.....

That's since 2003(wow long time) Dean occupied the seat for 12 years. It's a little early to put Donovan on a pedestal.

your ASSumption of where i get my news from couldn't be more off base..i regularly read the ny times, and other left wing rags, as well as listen to Scare America liberal radio frequently...listening to Rush or Hannity tell me what i already know is no fun..now about dean, if he is so moderate, how come so many people within his own party did not want him to be the chair..?..because he is way to the left..

Wrong, O Uninformed one. His party is a lot like the republican party, they like the same old same old. Dean represents a different way of doing things. The old guard in both parties are resistant to change. But they'll come around you'll see.

Not That It Matters B/c Rudy G. Will Blow Away Any Dem In 2008, But I Am So Happy Dean Is In Charge Of The Dnc Now. No Chance In Hell For Any Lib Getting Back In W.h. For The Next 12 Years.
