This has been a true see-saw battle between these teams and the Warriors stayed alive after a dominating 121-106 victory on Wednesday night at the Chase Center. Golden State is still in desperation mode as they are down 3-2 in this series and must come away with a victory if they want to bring a seventh and deciding game home.
We should also be aware that LA’s Anthony Davis might not be at 100 percent after he sustained a head injury in the fourth quarter of Wednesday night’s contest, which would be good news for the Warriors.
However, if Golden State is to have any chance of putting the Lakers to bed, they need to get better production from Klay Thompson. The veteran shooting guard was just 1-of-7 in his first seven shots in Game 5 and has produced a paltry 19 combined points over his last two games.
I believe the Warriors will win this one by double digits and take the series at home on Sunday.
