Your probably right Clover, but the QB situation makes Bama an iffy proposition this year. I don't think Bama can just plug and play at the QB position anymore like have in the past. They'll need to get some production out of him. Especially when they go on the road. And the way Bama embarassed the Aggies last year, I'm betting they'll have this game circled.Agree MoneyMan. Chavis is one of the all-time best D-Coordinators in the SEC....when he had the 'hotrods' (Tn, LSU.) He doesn't have the horsepower his first year in College Station and will not win the race against Alabama. Not this year............
A&M has been weak on defense under Sumlin and will be again during 2015....even with Chavis. Maybe next year?
i was referring to a potential GOY line which i figured would come in around Bama laying a TDNo way Bama isnt at least 3.5 pt fave against aggies, i dont care if they play the seahawks the week before no way Bama is an underdog @ A & M
they got to the national semifinal with a backup running back that couldn't stick with the Toronto Argonauts at a QB for more than a week. he was quite possibly the worst road qb in the history of the school (luckily we didn't have many true road games) so i'm pretty comfortable with anyone else under center. That being said the schedule is brutal with SEC west + the two best teams in east (UGA/UT) + Wisconsin neutral so I'm not booking any national championship tix....Your probably right Clover, but the QB situation makes Bama an iffy proposition this year. I never count Bama out because of their recruiting. But what I'm saying is that they'll probably have to find a new level at QB because many of the programs around them have improved. And like you said, the schedule is tougher.they got to the national semifinal with a backup running back that couldn't stick with the Toronto Argonauts at a QB for more than a week. he was quite possibly the worst road qb in the history of the school (luckily we didn't have many true road games) so i'm pretty comfortable with anyone else under center.
