I'm goin to the Big City this weekend with a few of my buddies. Anyone know where a couple of rednecks and their wives can find some fun? I've already packed plenty of Goodies Powder for those Sunset Strip hangovers.

And BTW- I'd like to do this on less than a c-note a day.

What better place for rednecks than Saddle Ranch? It's on Sunset, I don't know the exact address but I think it's in the 8300 block. There's a mechanical bull in there, you'll feel right at home. Order the Adios MotherFukker, it's $12.50 a pop but have two of them and you'll be good for the night. Also, you won't have to wait in much of a line there or pay cover. They have great steaks if you want to get there early and have dinner as well. Most of the other places you'll have to wait in long lines or be on a list to get in, and it'll be $20 cover, at least for the men for sure. Enjoy!

oh man i love the blvd! you have to check out where john belushi died. its chateau marmont at 8221 sunset blvd. bungalow 3.you have to party where i go at least once a month, go to the rainbow at 9015 sunset blvd and youll love the music! you never know whos going to be there and ive run into some big names like david lee roth,vince neil, slash and 2 weeks ago lou gramm from foreigner was in to sing some new songs getting ready for a summer tour with the band.you also need to check out the whiskey at 8901 sunset blvd.the doors played there as well as van halen,its got club pics on the walls of all the bands that got thier start in the club. ratt and motley crue got thier starts there. be prepared to party its a wild place! have fun.~RG

Rainbow is a time warp to 1988 all over again. B Real and Cypress is almost always on the patio smoking their weed.

Skip the Viper. bad bands (usually), no atmosphere, awful soundsystem.

Marmont is cool. lots of hot coked up sluts there.

also Four Seasons lobby bar usually has lots of celebs. more so during the week then on weekends. that is on Doheny in Beverly Hills.

no ive not heard that tesco. but theres no way they can re-create the original! i love hollywood.ive had some incredible nights at rainbow and the whiskey. i just assume everyone i encounter is some vip.FYI rob halford from judas priest is going to be trying out some new music at the whiskey this weekend or next. he lives not far from me but hes all over the clubs scene here.id love to know when so i can get up there and hear it.~RG

Beauty Bar, Star Shoes, Ivar are all in the Hollywood Blvd area
Cat and Fiddle is too just further down.

If you like record stores Amoeba is a must for the vinyl collector. It is the biggest record store I have seen.

the Hustler Store is just across from the Whiskey on Sunset Blvd. its like a mall store for porn.

since you are a rocker, ever been to Slash's Pit? little dive bar on melrose and sierra bonita ave. no GNR memorabilia or anything related to rock. still cool to say you went to Slash's.
