Shocker! Blix Missed the Sarin
The boys from our 101st Airborne went through a sickening experience on Sunday: They were poisoned by Saddam's sarin nerve gas.
A unit of the 101st was exploring an Iraqi military complex at the airport when they wandered into a room where the gas hung heavy in the air.
The 12 soldiers, who were treated for symptoms of low-level exposure - vomiting, dizziness and skin blotches - are recovering.
All Coalition soldiers evacuated the compound after tests by a mobile laboratory confirmed evidence of the nasty chemical weapon.
The real story, however, is not that weapons were found, but where they were found: Just a few yards from the very building Hans Blix and his inspection team used when they were once again lied to by Saddam and his puppets.
If Blix and his so-called "inspectors" had walked just a few yards from their plane to the buildings at the edge of the airfield, they would have found the sarin.
So much for Martin Sheen and his "inspections work" nonsense.
