I called up and asked about expiration dates. She said, the stuff is good for up to a year, just keep it frozen. It comes in a re-useable freeze dry pack.

Has anyone ever had steaks from them? They sound like a great gift to request. Always knew of them, never thought about it.

i dont know if you got it already but I really do not like the steaks. My parents get it every single year from my aunt and we make jokes the whole time. We end up having a big cook out and suffer through the steaks, burgers, and hot dogs. They really are subpar. Edible? Sure. But not very good.

granted everyones taste is different but Id much rather have supermarket steaks than omaha steaks.

I wanted to try primesteaks at one of the prime dealers but havent done it yet. The prices are obviously a lot more expensive but I would imagine they are a lot better. there is allenbrothers.com and lobels.com.

I leave for South Florida in 2 weeks and I hope all the Omaha Steaks are gone by the time I get down.
