I don't really consider guys like Oden busts. He would've been a beast if he didn't get hurt. Early 2009 season he was really coming into his own but his body just collapsed.

Anthony Bennett, Michael Beasley, Darko, Bargnani are probably the top 4. Darko has to be #1 easy. Pistons took him over Melo coming off a dominant NCAA tourney.

Tons of guys in the 5-10 range don't pan out. To be one of the biggest busts I think you have to be a top 3 pick.

Jay Williams got into a motorcycle accident to end his career after his rookie year, is he a bust?

The worst is when you make the wrong pick and the guy you need is right there. Imagine Memphis with James Harden's scoring the last 5 years?

They took Thabeet at 2 over him. Thabeet is up there.

For the Grizzlies you could probably say Thabeet didn't go on...

Ya from the Kwame Brown draft. Kwame Brown is obviously up there.

Griffin was 7th pick though. Guys in that range don't pan a lot.

Also, didn't he die from a car accident? Yeah he did, was drunk..

Really, unlike the NFL you can name 8 busts a year per draft. In the NFL, you can get a great contributor at pick 9, in the NBA after about pick 5, you don't get crap and even in the top 5, usually every year there are 2 or 3 guys that never pan out

I don't think that Adam Morrison could be so dominant in college & suddenly not be able to compete AT ALL in the NBA.

I think he's a perfect example of someone who got the money & then didn't care...

Entire 2000 draft sucked.

Entire draft only had 2 guys to ever make the all star team and they were just role players at best in Kenyon Martin and Magloire.

Strift, Darious Miles, Marcus Fizer, All top 5 picks
