i disagree. if anything they will play faster without Arinze. Instead of waiting for him and feeding him in the post they will run more. Jackson will be the only low post threat, and Jimmy will play smaller. Devo is more of a slasher than Rautins as well. He pushes the tempo be it good or bad, he is pushing it. I expect Jimmy to turn Flynn loose. i am expecting them to get up and down the floor much more. Kris Joseph will get more minutes and he is better in transition as well. This may be a shootout tonight
You know Syracuse better then me. But won't it be hard for them to keep that pace all game without Rautins, Onuaku and with a banged up Devo on the floor?
He is just putting in his input. He knows more about Syracuse then all of us so I trust what he says.
well you have seen devo play. he isn't one to slow it down. he also is no where near the defender. also with no AO there is nobody turning shots away in the paint. joseph is still soft on defense. so there is going to be a major downgrade with Syracuse's defense. Actually if I recall last season a lot of the time when they were short handed when Jimmy had the lead he will pull the air out of the ball. You should be good IF Syracuse has the lead. Will they is the question? Unfortunately I don't think they will. Just too many questions tonight for me to get a solid gauge. Therefore I hope you guys pull it out. I get the feeling we may see a shootout though.
