are you taking your ball with you?

hahahahhaha my friend says that to me all the time. GD...dont worry man. I'm in the same boat. Was up a little over 20 units and I just recently hit a cold streak. I'm down about 12 units now and last night i had WVU, SJSU, and USC (so I thought). Turns out, I fucking some how bet Washington instead and i loss 3 units plus juice. Shit happens. Your a good capper and I have no doubt you'll be right back at it. Start real small think baby steps. Get that stack up a little before you start throwing around 2-3 units a play. Keep at it man. Don't give up.

I for one, do not think you should leave. The knowledge and info you bring to the forum are top rate. And knowledge is what these forums are about, as well as picks. Even the best cappers go through a cold streak. Good luck to what ever you decide....Seems like this place is losing good cappers by the Day now..

lol, you know you sound like a little baby right now right? If I don't win i'm going home.

you tried to tout yourself as one of the best cappers here who knows what they're doing just because you had a nice run earlier, but in the long run you consistently lose money. just accept the fact that you aren't that good at picking winners. people don't tend to bash nice guys that don't tout themselves, even if they lose. people bash guys that think they're amazing, yet continue to lose.

it's amazingly funny how the people that call themselves the "best college hoops cappers" on this site, are losing or barely making profit. added together i'm sure they're below 53%, which is not good at all.

this forum is bad for hoops and the best guys don't get noticed that much. only cappers here i'd probably think about following on days i didn't want to pick games are tony mar, railbird and of coarse greenbacks.

gl on your "win or im outta here" day on saturday though.:drink:

When have I ever touted myself here? I came here from day one and posted GimmeDattt Monday Hoops (Record Here) since day one and just said how good or bad yesterday went. Do I have confidence? Yes, I do, I think I am a good capper or I wouldn't be posting picks because they would be no help to anyone. I have never publicly posted anything about my past capping. Only thing I have said is that I do very well in post-seasons. Any other questions I had people pm me so it wasn't like I was touting.

You don't see me here like Aladdin. I would love for you to explain to me how I am touting my picks. I posted in the + money from day 1 on this forum, November 23rd until yesterday January 21st. I don't see how you say consistent loser.

All I did was post picks and write-ups where you come off saying something like this I have no clue.

I say if I lose Saturday I stop posting my picks. I sound like a baby? Maybe just because if I lose Saturday I will no longer be a help to this forum in posting picks. I will still participate but will only post when I have some winners rather then post some losers.

It's clear right now my head is not right but for you to say that is ignorant.

Show me some proof that I have ever touted myself.

is it losing good cappers or is it losing guys who went on a run, their heads grew, then lost some games ( like evreyone does ) and now cant handle the thought of not being the "man" at an internet forum?

you be the judge

I don't know I sustained +30-+50 units over 200 plays but have picked like absolute shit lately. I know I have won in the past you don't know shit about me. My head didn't grow one bit.

you use the excel sheet then. easier to categorize everything and you can look at it all on one page instead of searching to find your plays for one day, then the next day on and on.

ive come to the conclusion that the vast majority of people who post plays want a pat on the back, and want it to be known that they are a top handicapper.

posting plays, asking for a discussion hey what do you think of these plays i get.

actually keeping a running record, putting stars and pointless shit in the thread title, looking for attention is stupid and a waste of time imo.

I posted plays for a few reasons.
#1 to track my record
#2 I like writing up games on occassion
#3 I like to know what people think of the plays
#4 In the past thier was some demand for them

Do I mind the pat on the back? Of course not. But, I just like to post them to get some input, feedback on my plays.

Thanks for the kind words and I am definitley not leaving anymore. I want to prove to those two guys (can't remember their name now) that this isn't my regular win rate and the 50 units wasn't just a big lucky hot streak.

Dude everybody goes through losing streaks. I was up around 40 units in college football and blew it all on the bowl games. Just have to keep battling away and learn from your mistakes.

Remember the next hot streak is right around the corner.

Rider 1H +2.5 (2 Units)

Fairfield missing some guys and have a few others doubtful and questionable and it doesn't look like they are going to play. However, I am going to take the 1H with the thinking that Fairfield won't figure out how to play without some key guys until the 2H. Also, Thompson is the best player in the conference and would hold his own in any other conference IMO.

quick question. why do you even post? obviously you are against gambling because you couldn't hack it, but why do you continue to come in here with the "I'm saving the world bullshit?"

GD - You gotta stick this out my man. You can't let a cold spell run you off. This shit happens. You win % is still where it needs to be. You have hot streaks (like the beginning of the season), and you have cold spells (current), but how you determine if you are a good capper is what you do when you are on a cold streak. Sure everything is easy when you are winning, but it is digging yourself out of these cold patches that determines how successful you are. If you are confident in your capping ability, and stick to the process there is no doubt you will come out ahead. Conference play is tough. I know the most important thing I learned is to be very careful playing the chalk, and especially wary of road chalk. Anyways keep doing what you do and everything will be fine. Take it from me. I got off to a good start, was up 30 units or so, went cold and got down about 10 units, but at the time I knew things would turn around. I was confident in my selections and felt I was putting myself on the right side more times than not. I knew if I kept to my process everything would turn around. I still am not doing as good as I know I can, but I am back in the positives, and feel like I have a good handle on things. All I am saying is that you can't stop posting when things get bad, because others won't be able to benefit when you turn it around.

GL this weekend. I am looking forward to your posts.

Thanks for the encouragement. I am definitley going to stick it out. I have learned a lot I think through this cold streak and every night I think it is going to end or ease up it doesnt. Hopefully I can get things going Saturday. I have been capping the Saturday games since early yesterday in hopes to turn it around.
