i was finally paid today after a request i made on tuesday morning.
I was told on tuesday that it would take until 5 eastern time. it didn't get done. i called they said 8 eastern time. it didn't get done. they said there was a problem with their "neteller connection" by this time tuesday night obviously i wasn't pleased.
i called wednesday and they were apologetic but still nothing was done by 5 eastern. so now i am pissed and a little worried. i keep calling and they keep doing the same thing, "account number" "how much was the withdrawl for?" and then "hold on while i check with accounting" then they never came back. this happened at least 5 times where i ended up talking to no one. i was not happy.
i explained that the money hadn't even been taken out of my betting account yet. most books have a small moratorium between taking funds out of your betting account and then crediting your neteller account. they said they were having a neteller connection problem so i found that odd.
I call late last night and really pissed during the cavs game. and tommy, a supervisor answers the phone. he is nice and seems "with it" and helpful. he apologizes several times and says he will make sure it is done by morning and he will report the problem with my account and customer service to upper management to get me compensated as i am a long time and valued customer. he also says he will be in touch with me via email about this matter.
this morning comes around 10 eastern and i still don't have money. i call and say that tommy said he was taking care of it. they say hold on and i'll transfer you to him, i was like tommy that just worked last night, they said yes. so i talk to him and he is nice and says it will be done soon. i'm nice to him as he is genuine and apologetic. i got my money about 30 minutes later.
so kudos to tommy. but as you all know it is very frustrating having to hound a book when books like pinny, betjamaica, and olympic will fund your neteller 5 minutes after a request.
Now for the most part i have had a good experience with getabet. i have been fortunate enough to win a nice amount from them over the last year. they have some playable props and unique lines on games now and then. they are one of around 20 books that i use. i also have an account with sportbet.
i never did receive an email about "inconvenience compensation" but that isn't that important to me. i got paid but it was time consuming and stressful. it seems weird they cant make a small neteller withdrawl in less than an hour but they accept 20 dime wagers on nfl games. anyway i got paid today.
