FZ, "personal issue" that is not a mandate to make it law for pro life.

That means it's the choice of the person. "Personal issue"

You right wingers just love Sarah because of her pro-life stance, but it's all BS. She isnt going to help overturn R v W.

I'm not so sure about that. The next President may get to replace 2 or 3 justices.

Come on. This is John Roberts all over again. Saying what it takes to make the conserves happy and then shying away from it when landing the job is all sewn up.

It's not about the morals, it's about the ethics.

I doubt a pro-lifer and only a pro-lifer could change the dynamics of the race the way she has. When are "left wingers" going to stop under estimating her?

Abortion will never be illegal in the current political / social environment. I want to see real restrictions on late term abortions. With a different message, maybe we can eliminate the perverse drive by abortion mentality that exists today.

Willie, I respect the fact that you recognize and can at least partially accept that some abortions are a part of modern society.

I agree on your take of late term. However; I don't think this any real reach to a sided view point. Most anyone does not enthusiastically condone a late term abortion. Without question, it's murder at a certain point.

If the mother can't figure out what's going on and make a choice in the first 2 months or so (Which I think is a window that is OK to abort pregnancy) then the correction of self irresponsibility has gone beyond most people's natural reasoning, and she should simply have the child and put it up for adoption.

Correct.

What Palin is grudgingly acknowledging is that she does not believe that an American woman who chooses to terminate a pregancy should be arrested, prosecuted and put into prison.

In short - she's clearly pro-choice.

Props to her. But if she keeps mouthing that in interviews, she's going to lose a lot of the traction McCain hoped to gain with staunch anti-abortion voters.

Yes, she is not the quite the fundie that you might think on first blush. Fundies can smell faux fundies pretty far away and I think that they are going to soon recognize an odor that they don't especially like.

I gotta give some credit here, I thought Cheeerrrrrlie would roll over and coddle her, but he actually did a decent job. There are a whole lot more questions to be asked, especially followup, but with the time that he had, he did a pretty good job. :103631605

I knew he'd lay into her - especially after the white wash, bum kissing job he did on Obama it was obvious he was another left wing media drone.

Bill O'riely asks everyone the tough questions - and he ain't nice about it - let's see if he can get her and then we'll all know.

By the way, did anyone notice if she was wearing lipstick when she was interviewed?

Around here, a "fundy" is someone from Nova Scotia in Canada.

What the hell is a "fundie"

What she is begrudging is Rowe vs Wade is in place & the selfish Heartless Women murderers can't be put in jail & means she wishes it to be overturned soon.

Wow - that's kinda strong.

I think most of the women are thoughtless at that moment - pregnant at a time they don't want to be or can't afford to be - many of them later rue the fact that they murdered their child - many suufer severe depression when they become empty nesters.

My wife and I carried on through at least one unplanned event - as I think most couples do. _ not that I had a lot to say in the matter LOL

I do think that abortion doctors should be jailed for mass murder.

I know it sounds strong because I meant it that way...Example: My Brother & then his girlfriend later his wife got pregnant & on the way in to the abortion clinic there were anti abortion protesters outside demonstrating...They turned around & went back to the car...Today I have fine 23 year old Neice who got straight A's here senior year of HS & won a free scholarship at TU for criminal justice & graduated with honors..At this moment she's pregnant (unplanned) & did'nt even think of abortion because a baby right now is goofing up her career plans they'll work it out, maybe just a 3 year delay...The easy way out?...Not in my family.
