While those countries are certainly safe havens and breeding grounds for terrorists, the research actually points to other areas in the Middle East as the most prominent for financing, support, messaging, etc. I suspect that's why some people, regardless of political association view the Obama administration and now Trump's administration as faltering on this front. How any serious attempt at vetting Islamic terrorist groups excludes Saudi Arabia is mind boggling. It is not 'racist' to not want people from Islamic countries here. I dont dislike the people perse but that religion is a problem. We should absolutely ban countries we are at war with or have been engaged with militarily. Islam at its core is a cult of control and submission. If you're a Muslim who rejects the parts of Islam that is about religion or judiciary youre not my problem. How do you separate those people? People who previously could have entered the United States without a visa were instead required to apply for one if they had traveled to one of the seven countries."
