I think many people are opposed to IDEA the wall because of what it represents to many ethnic groups. His rhetoric during the campaign intensified people's notions about Mexicans being criminals when the vast majority are hard working people, many of whom do much of the labor the average American will not. He isn't targeting just the violent criminals either. If someone came here illegally and works hard, pays taxes, and contributes why deport them when they have made a legit life and created a family? He's ripping parents away from kids. Many of whom were allowed to stay and were monitored as part of DACA.

Good point. Just look at Cesar Millan, celebrity dog trainer, who snuck in to the country illegally and made something of his life. He met his wife in the US and created a family. Just looked up his net worth and it's an impressive $25M, not too bad for a "bad hombre" who "murders, rapes and kills."
