Thursday's Bonus Play:

1 Unit on St Louis Cardinals U 8½ +100 (Astacio - R, Mulder - L)
Public is on the over heavy here but I don't see this game being very high scoring at all. Astacio has been very good of late and he will have his hands full with this Cards lineup. He is 7-3 overall with an ERA of 3.17 and he is 2-0 with an ERA of 1.89 over his last 3 and doesn't seem to have control issues. Mulder struggled his last 2 outings but should settle down today at home facing a team that really struggles vs lefties. Mulder is 7-3 with an ERA of 2.59 at home.

2 Units on LA Angels of Anaheim +1½ +100 (Byrd - R, Johnson - L)
Great value here as this may be a low scoring game as the under is 8-2 in Wegner's last 10 BHP and it is 5-1 in Byrd's last 6. LAA is 10-4 in their last 14 road games and Byrd has pitched much better than his W/L record indicates. Expect the low scoring game to give the Halos an opportunity to steal this as a huge dog. The do hit lefties very well and have an avg of .298 over the last 10 and almost .280 for the season. The NYY bullpen has been awful of late and that is why we will take the Halos RL instead of the under.
