German Weekend

Long time no posting for me as i am/was very busy working over the weekends, but here we go again.
Usual stuff like last season: if nothing else mentioned always risking one unit with the occasional 2 unit play.

Saturday:

1. Bundesliga

Gladbach- Freiburg: over 2.5 @2.05

Gladbach struggling big time on defense this season..lot's of overs and Freiburg is a dangerous away team with a good history playing at Gladbach. I see both teams on the board and that should lead to an over....not so convinced on Gladbach's side as they are simply struggling and are unreliable.

Hannover- Augsburg: Hannover -0.5@1.85

Hannover still one of the better teams in league. They should have won last match vs. Gladbach but gave 2-0 lead away..They always score, especially at home and that's where Augsburg struggles in this league (otherwise the over would be a good play as well).
Much better team, playing at home should get the home win

Nuernberg- WOlfsburg: Wolfsburg pk @2.08 !! 2 units!!

Nuernberg struggling big time...in last 6 games only one draw. no big home advanatage and now they are facing a Wolfsburg team , which seems to enjoy life after coach Magath was fired...they responded with 4-1 win at Duesseldorf and mid-week cup win...all comments from players saying that they are enjoy playing football again. Being potentially the much better team anyway i expect them to go on a small run now and beat at least the teams they should bet and Nuernberg is definetely one of them.

Hoffenheim- Schalke: Schalke -0.5 @ 1.89 and over 2.5,3 @ 1.89

Hoffenheim you never know what you get...only thing for sure: they struggling big time on defense, which makes them a great over team this season. Schalke is strong, also in away games...they have scored at least 2 in all but one away game this season and against Hoffenheim's struggling defense i expect the same here.
Involvement in mid week cup for Schalke will not be a problem as they had easy home win over lower league team.
2-1,3-1 Schalke would suit me.

Propable back for later game, but in case i am not: looking for Hamburg in case the line get's to Hamburg +1.5, which it should.
Hamburg in good form, playing at home and although bayern will look for win after recent home defeat i dont see a convincing 2 goal win here...will be close.

Mainz is dangerous, but Dortmund slowing going on a run in league as they did last year after a slow start...they will continue here.

Wolfsburg- Bremen over 2.5,3 @ 1.85

two unpredictable teams right now as they can score and conceide a lot....should see at least 3 goals.

no more plays:
Bayern rice is too high, nuern-fuerth is a derby where everything can happen...schalke might struggle due to mid week euro comitments against a dangerous Frankfurt

Aue- Sandhausen: Aue -0.5 @ 1.83 and over 2.5 @ 1.89

Aue is a solid home team..yes they lost last home game vs. strong Hertha, but bounced back with importaant away win..before at home draw vs. top team Braunschweig and two wins. Sandhausen is a weaker team at the botom + hopeless in away games.
7 of last 10 Aue games went over the number and the other 3 had a 1-1 score. Sandhausen over in 5 of 7 with other two ending on 2 as well...both team will score and Aue win will bring it over

Berlin- Bochum: over 2.5,3 @ 1.89

2 over teams here as well.

Leverkusen- Nuernberg: Leverkusen -1 @ 1.98

Leverkusen is on a very good run that led them up to 2nd position. they are scoring lots of goals right now and especially at home they are very solid...i see this continuing against a Nuernberg team which layed well recently, but is coming of a few very emotional derbies vs. Fuerth and Muenchen and earned enough points recently , so they dont need this today...they will be overwelmed and i see a comfortable home win.

2-team parlay: Schalke (1.50) and Leverksuen (1.56) for a combined 2.34

even with schalke struggling for their potential right now, they are very solid this year at home and struggles are mainly away...Gladbach got a mid week home win, still they are not as strong as last year and tend to struggle. it might be close but Schalke should bring it over the line at home.

Mainz- Hannover: Mainz pk,-0.5 @ 1.80

Mainz playing well right now coming of a midweek away win. they are especially good at home this season winning 4 of last 5 with only loss being to Dortmund.
Hannover is dangerous but not particular dangerous away with already 4 losses from 6 games. they will have their hand full today to stay in it.

Fuerth - Stuttgart: Stuttgart pk @ 1.80

Fuerth just not good. only one win overall on first match and with only 2 draws and 5 losses at home. Today they are facing stuttgart which is slowly coming back to form..they turned around their euro league season and got much better results recently in league as well. i cannot see them losing here today

Re-start of german football after winter break...let's go for a strong second half

Wolfsburg- Stuttgart: over 2.5 @ 1.85

Wolfsburg with new coach after the break and Perisic as main transfer during break...they should be stronger in 2nd half of season, but we have to see how they fit in. therefore no play on the side here for me.
Stuttgart is one of the strongest away teams in league and they will not stay back here. i expect both teams looking for a positive start and getting on the board. hopefully not a 1-1

Leverkusen- Frankfurt : over 3 @ 2.00

Two good and offensive teams. should see plenty of goals with Frankfurt not sitting back in away games but also vulnurable on defense.
I also like Leverkusen to win at home (play is below)

Mainz- Freiburg: under 2.5 @ 1.93

two solid teams here that are very evenly matched. Mainz with a few injury problems, but home advantage should make uo for that. key here is that Freiburg has next to Bayern the best defense in league and is also not overly agressive in scoring..should be an open, but low scoring game
