let s start it off with friday s games:

2. Bundesliga

Frankfurt- Paderborn: Paderborn pk,+0.5 @ 1.90 and over 2.5 @ 1.95

Frankfurt without points from first 2 matches is not looking good right now..they normally stay in home games and are no walk over, but somehow the team is not klicking that early in the season especially on defense. they lost 1-2 at home and 0-4 away.
Paderborn plays very offensive football. that resulted in a 0-3 away loss at Düsseldorf in which they actually were the much better team followed by a home win (2-0) over Koblenz..coach is already stating that they stay with the offensive playing style also for todays away match, which makes pretty sure for me that they will score against the struggling defense.
As Frankfurt normally plays tough at home they should be also able to score which should make for a nice over

Düsseldorf- Koblenz : Düsseldorf pk,-0.5 @ 1.85

Düsseldorf is strong at home with lots of support. they are missing chris in midfield but should be still able to beat the weak Koblenz defense , which conceided 4 goals in first two matches. Koblenz came back at home with a 3-2 win after being 0-2 but that match was actually lost and only gives a good line here. away they are not the strongest team anyway and should not be able to comeback as in last home game

Regionalliga Süd

Freiburg- Wehen: Freiburg -0.5 @1.87 !! 2 units!!

Freiburg with 5 points from first 3 games, while Wehen is without points so far.
Also last year Freiburg won both matches 3-1 and 3-0...Wehen is not looking good enough early in season to get points here.

1. Liga to come in about an hour.

i was thinking a lot about the schalke-Hoffenheim match and will stay away.
Hoffenheim, and i agree to most people here today, had not a great start in the season result-wise. They played actually very good in opening game and home draw to München, which they could have won...then they were completely dominated in away loss (0-1) at Leverkusen. But Leverkusen is also a very good team and that can happen.
Schalke, even with new coach Magath, was not expected to jump into title race in first season of new coach, after a mediocre season. they look very solid and improoved so far, but then on the other hand they were not really tested against lowly Nürnberg and Bochum.
it a very open match between two good teams and although i dont like Hoffenheim in general and will root for Schalke, i believe they could as easily win as loose...a draw is a very likely outcome in my opinion, as Schalke will be happy with that in the away match, and Hoffenehim might not be able to run over Schalke, which i expect to play from a solid defense.
BOL to all who are on Schalke. i will root for you,but there is much better value on tonight s soccer card.

1. Bundesliga

Mainz- München: München -1 @ 1.87 !! 2 units!!

München has started with two draws at Hoffenheim and vs. Bremen. not really great, but maybe also not as bad as it seems considering they have new coach and injury to Ribery. They are the much better team in today s matchup and that start in the season, just gives us a great opportunity and should work as a wake up call for them...today is the first match they have to win and they will win (much more dangerous to play at Mainz if you already beat 2 strong teams and be careless).
From 6 games between the team in the past München won 5 and one draw.
Mainz is coming up from 2.Liga and fired their coach just a few days before start of season. they had a 2-2 home draw vs. Leverkusen in which they had no business to get a point. they came back from 1-2 and many very strange decisions by ref kept them in play. This was followed by a draw at struggling Hannover, which was also not a surprise and shouldnt be overrated (Hannover fired the coach after that)
They are still missing a few players with injury and i simply dont expect them to have any chance to get a point here

Dortmund- Stuttgart: over 2.5,3 @1.91

Dortmund strong at home has to bounce back after a terrible match at Hamburg (1-4) in which they conceided 3 goals in first 10 minutes and should have lost much bigger..nevertheless a wake up call for them and after a team talk they should perform much, much better today...same happened last where the lost big to Hoffenheim..after that they turned season around and started with a bounce back 3-0 win over Stuttgart..
still you have to see that Stuttgart is a very good and offensive minded team. so they should be also able to score...i just hope somebody scores at least twice.

Köln- Frankfurt: Köln pk,-0.5 @ 1.90

Köln played very well vs. Wolfsburg last week and lead to 70 min.
although they have started with to losses vs. Dortmund and Wolfsburg the team is playing ok and nobody really expected them to get points from these games...now it s their time to get some points on the board.
their main striker Novakovic will play for first time after injury and same goes for key-defender Geromel..it s the first time this season Köln is really playing with their strongest team.
Frankfurt had a surprising win at Bremen, which was actually given to them (even a Kazachstan-team could score 3 against Bremen mid week) and they couldnt follow that up at home against lowly Nürnberg.
i think the situation with the first two losses, combined with home game and first game with all players available is a big factor to Köln here.

Freiburg- Leverkusen: Leverkusen pk,-0.5 @1.87 !! 2 units!!

Leverkusen is strong so far and much more solid on defense and clever in playing style under new coach Heynkes than last season. They won dominant vs. Hoffenheim and should have win at Mainz.
Freiburg followed up a home draw to Hamburg (in which Hamburg somehow did not even try to play) with a 2-4 loss at Stuttgart..should be an away win as the München one.

2. Bundesliga<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

St.Pauli- Duisburg over 2.5,3 @ 1.97

Two strong teams with good start in the season..both have strong offense and will go for scoring and the win here.
Duisburg so far 2-0 and 2-2, St.Pauli 5-0 and 2-1. last season the match ended 2-2

3. Bundesliga

Dresden- Aue: under 2.5,2 @ 1.98

Both strong on defense and weak on offense …Dresen has 1-4 goals from 4 games, Aue 3-2 goals from 4 games

Offenbach- Kiel: Offenbach –0.5 @1.76

Strong home team which did not conceide a goal so far this season.

Wuppertal- Sandhausen: over 2.5 @ 1.87 !! 2 units!!

I dont understand the line here..both teams with strong offense and weak defense.
Wuppertal s games so far this season have ended on 4,4,3,5 goals..Sandhausen play on 6,4,3,3 goals…that s all 8 games played by the teams going over the number…I go for the trend here.

Hi Chris,

i have a very strange feeling that FC Bayern at Mainz could be a big trap game. I saw München last week in the Alianz Arena and though they were the better team and Bremen played strangely with 10 man defense i think München has big problems. They have a new coach and don't understand the system at all. But the biggest problem is that the Coach wants to play a system with a classic playmaker at the 10, but he does not have one player in his team that fits into this important position. And Ribery don't want to play at the 10 and is always injured. Besides from his wish to stay at his old position he is not a classic playmaker. VdV is the only player who could solve all the problems München has, but for some strange reason the board is not willing to buy this great player. They gave the strange reason that they are not ready to sacrifice the whole system for one player.I never read something more stupid. You don't need to change the whole system for VdV, because he is the premise you can play this system. This just shows me that this Club has no direction and is right now totally out of control and far away from earlier years where they dominated. Besides that i can never trust a defense with Badstuber and Van Buyten in the middle.
Before the season they let Lucio and ZeRoberto go and they were 2 of their best players. Just another sign that München right now don't know what they are doing. For me München is big fade material in this season and at the end of the season they will not qualify for the CL.You will get in every game great odds as München will be in every game overvalued. And if they don't change their transfer policy they will fall behind quickly.München has simply not the quality on the field that you can trust them even against Mainz. Sorry, but when players like Sosa, Baumjohann, Altintop, Müller, Pranjic, Badstuber and Van Buyten are your first option, you are in serious trouble.

Just my 2 cents.

Good luck to all your bets.

i agree in general to most of your points...it s almost like Real when they had their real big times..they only go for strikers (Klose, Gomez, Olic, Toni), but have no structure in midfield and being here in Hamburg i cannot see any reason how you can let a player like ZE Roberto go...defense i also agree...i think this coach has different ideas to what Klinsmann had, but maybe what Klinsmann was too modern, van Gaal is too old fashion...wil be a very interesting season for them..and i totally agree that they heavily depend on Ribery, which is dangerous with his injuries (BTW that s also the problems with VdV: he is very often out with minor injuries).

still i hope they have enough for Mainz today @)

1. Bundesliga

Bochum- Berlin: Berlin pk,+0.5 @1.89

Bochum was lucky vs. Gladbach to come back from 0-3 down to get a 3-3...they played the same bad football at Schalke getting trashed 0-3.
Today comes Berlin which is not doing great so far (winning at home and loosing Gladbach), but should be still good enough to get a draw here..they also have a good history playing at Bochum..this is mainly a Bochum fade.

looking at the two later game right now.

Wolfsburg- Hamburg: over 3 @ 1.99 !! 2units!!

two very strong offense face each other here.
Wolfsburg is known for the good offense especially at home. they won 2-0 vs. stuttgart in a game with so much speed that only fantastic saves by both goalies could prevent it from going over. this was followed by an 3-1 away win.
Hamburg under new coach Labbadia plays very open football with a high powering offense but also some issues on defense. They won last match in Bundesliga 4-1 vs. Dortmund and won midweek 4-0 away in euro league.
You have to know that Labbadia coached before in Leverkusen and Fürth..both well known for very offensive football even with the risk of conceiding...same now with Hamburg.
For this match Hamburg is also not afraid of Wolfsburg as it is a big "Nord -derby". this heated up match also goes over by a lot recently..last year it was 3-0 and 3-1. Before they had results like 4-4 and 4-4. they never had a goalless draw.
should be some great entertainment
