Frankfurt- Cottbus: under 2.5 @1.95

Not a game to watch, but at least some solid trends. <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Frankfurt is struggling lately, especially on offense, but at least the defense is OK. This led to 4 of last 5 games going under the number. Same here for Cottbus. They are coming of a surprise home win over München, but this was more to a lack of motivation by München than any kind of skill by Cottbus. 4 of last 5 games have gone under for them as well. They have not won in last 14 away games, but tend to play close in away games (solid defense). That why I ll not play the side here.a 1-1 draw would be no surprise

2. Bundesliga

Kaiserslautern- Offenbach: over 2,2.5 @ 2.0

It s a derby between two teams fighting against relegation. It will be a heated atmosphere in a night game…so everything can happen , especially goals. From the stats Kaiserslautern is an under team as they lack offensive power, but coming of an away win and playing at home at night should give them enough boost to score here. Offenbach sees usually scoring on both sides. They conceide, but are also capable of scoring. I expect a 2-1,1-2 or 2-2 type game (there will be lots of yellow cards)

St.Pauli- Osnabrück: over 2.5 @ 2.01

Same setup here. Both teams fighting against relegation. It s some kind of a north-derby. St.Pauli at home at night creates always a special atmosphere. St.Pauli again is the low scoring team here, but I feel it could be different today. Osnabrück is playing surprisingly well in away games lately and scoring a lot. After another home loss last week they will go for the win here again, which should lead to an open game with scoring on both sides.

Regionalliga Nord

Bremen- Wolfsburg: Bremen -1.5 @ 2.0 !! 2 units!!

Bremen is one of the top teams in the league with probably the best offense. Wolfsburg is a joke and basically relegated. Bremen should score at least 3 goals here.

Regionalliga Süd:

Oggersheim- 1860 München: München -0.5 @ 1.96

Oggersheim is helpless having 8 points from 22 games. München is also not a good team, but they need every point to avoid relegation. If they don’t get a win here, they are in big trouble. It s a complete Oggersheim fade.

München- Elversberg: München pk,-0.5 @ 1.95

München is playing better lately. It s important for them to finish in 10th spot or higher. As a B-team of Bayern München that s important for the lub and the team will get on a run from here to secure that. They already started with a solid away win last week and struggling ELversberg should not stop them.

Siegen- Ingolstadt: Ingolstadt pk,-0.5 @ 2.08

Ingolstadt is probably playing the best football in league right now winning away and home. They need the points in tight race for promotion. Siegen is in mid-table and showing no particular form.

i ll be away till monday night, so here is the total card

 • 1. Bundesliga
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
München- Leverkusen: Leverkusen +1 @1.90

It s the top match of the day. Normally not much between the teams and +1 is simply a big number. Especially considering that München struggles on the offensive end a bit lately and therefore played 5 straight unders. Really not much to analyse here. Leverkusen is on a hot run, but München will be definitely focused on such a big game. Leverkusen not a good history at München at all loosing 12 of last 13 games here. Nevertheless you have to take a +1 in this kind of game.

Duisburg- Hannover: over 2.5 @ 1.92

Duisburg is sitting in last play and is coming off a 1-2 loss at Schalke. At home they have shown some hope lately, especially against better (or teams that go out for an away win) teams like Dortmund or Stuttgart. Both those games have seen a very offensive approach and have ended on 5 and 6 goals. In Duisburg s situation they have no choice but go for a win anyway, which also should lead to some space for Hannover. Hannover a solid mid table team struggled lately mainly due to problems on defense. That led to 5 of 6 games going over with the under being a 0-2 loss. Still they managed to score themselves, so a pretty open game should lead to at least 3 goals here.

Nürnberg- Bochum: Bochum +0.5 @1.90

Nürnberg is still in relegation zone and struggling big time. Their main problem is offense. Not sure why they are favs here especially considering the Bochum is a very dangerous mid table team that have not lost in last 4 games. They are away capable to score, also in away games, and one goal might be already enough to get the cover here.

Wolfsburg- Hamburg: under 2.5 @ 1.85

It s a north derby between two very solid teams right now. Wolfsburg just lost at München in the cup semis, but are the best team in 2nd half of season so far. Much due a new goalie (swiss national team goalie) who has stabilized the defense a lot. Hamburg I don’t have to think much about. They are the biggest low scoring team in league anyway, playing from a very solid defense. That is their first priority and will be here again. I don’t see more than two goals her, probably just one.

Berlin- Schalke: under 2.5 @ 1.80

Similar situation here to the Hamburg game. Berlin played now 5 straight unders (and way under)..very solid defense lately. Schalke away is also an under team. There should not be a lot of scoring chances at all.

 • 2. Bundesliga

Jena- Fürth: over 2.5 @ 1.80 !!2 units!!

Jena has probably reached the stage where they have almost given up, being in last place. They lost during the week the cup semi at Dortmund with a solid performance. One thing is for sure lately with them..at least they are trying to win, although most of the time they are simply not good enough. But it leads to an offensive style resulting in 9 of last 10 games going over the number with usually both teams scoring.
Fürth is in hunt for promotion but continues to show a strange form..winning against good teams just to come back and loose at home to bottom teams (as last weekend). So I don’t trust them here with a side play, but they will definitely will go for the win which should help the over.

Aue- Freiburg: under 2.5 @1.89

Aue is in relegation zone. Their big problem is offense. They have been shut out in 7 of last 9 games. Being better on defense lately led to 3 consecutive unders (0-1,0-1,0-2). Freiburg on the other hand is back in the promotion race. The coach is stressing the return to a more defense orientated approach which made the successful early in the season. They played the last 5 games under the number.

Köln- Wehen: Köln –0.5,-1 @ 1.90

Köln needs the win here in promotion race. They usually beat teams which are behind them in the standings and Wehen is a perfect fit for that. After having a great streak to start the year, wehen is slowed down now, after getting only one point from last two games against bottom team. Tough place for them here.

Koblenz- München: under 2,2.5 @ 1.93

Both teams in mid-table right now. Both play solid defense and struggle on offense. The result: Koblenz played 8 of 9 under the number, while München played last 5 under the number with a total of 3 goals in these games.

Regionalliga Nord:

Union Berlin- Erfurt over 2.5 @ 2.05

Two absolute over teams here . union is on a good run right now, especially on offense. 13 goals in last 3 home games in total. Last 3 overall went over. Erfurt was a big over team in first half of season which made them successful. Then a new coach.lower scoring and mixed results. Now the offensive approach is showing again lately. Should see at least 3 goals here.

Verl- Düsseldorf: Düüseldorf –0.5 @ 1.95

Verl a bottom team with not much hope, while Düsseldorf started the year strong to be a prime contender for promotion. A mid week home loss to Dresden was a slight set back but Verl is a good opportunity to get back on track.

Essen- Babelsberg : Essen –1 @ 1.89

I backed Essen last week as a winner and will here again. They need points to secure at least 10th spot. They were a pre-season fav, but disappointed big time early in the season. Now they show improvement. A mid week draw at Emden was also a solid oerformance. Babelsbergis a bottim team with no wins and 3 draws from last 7 games.
