1.Bundesliga

Bochum- Hannover: over 2.5 @ 1.85 !! 2 units!!

I have seen Bochum playing last week in Hamburg and although they lost 0-3 (very misleading result) I must say I was quite impressed with their overall speed and offensive attitude. I always knew that they are able to score(for a lower half team), but now I know why.Anyway today they are playing at home where this attitude is shown at its best. 8 of 9 home games went over the number and most of them by much. Usually both teams score as Bochum is also not able to keep clean sheet, but you can be sure the will put a 90 min fight on to score.Overall they are not particular strong at home (draws in last 2 matches), but are able to beat anybody at home.
After a nice first half of season expectations were high for Hannover, but they only have 2 points from last 3 matches. They were totally outplayed by München in last weeks 0-3 home loss. Somehow I believe that they will be dangerous today as a win here could be a chance to get back on track and I expect them to be quite motivated for that. Not sure if it will be enough, but it should be enough to score against Bochum and give the over a nice chance.
They play around the number in away games but today I expect them to be a bit more offensive.

2. Bundesliga

Köln-München: Köln -0.5 @ 1.80 (also possible at -0.75)

Köln is back on track in promotion race with 3-1 away win last week. Now it s a big match against another promotion contender. They can play full strength and have won 5 of last 6 home games.
München is coming off a very disappointing 0-1 home loss to Hoffenheim. In addition they lost to key defenders with injury/suspension. Problem is that their defensive substitute is also doubtful for the game. So an already chaken defense could be even worse. This is not good when facing one of the best offenses in the league.

Mainz- Jena: no play.

Mainz should win here. It s a mismatch between a top team and the bottom team. But Mainz is struggeling alztely on offense. They have not scores more than a goal in last 5 games. Jena is especially terrible away and got in addition two players suspended with red-card. If you need a play as part of a parlay you can take Mainz ML, but laying more than a goal is a pass for me

i told you they struggle to put team away..bad luck with Köln...they had many good chances in first 30 min and then red card spoiled the whole game. Köln played safety firstafter that and München was too scared of fast breaks to attack ...let s start the scoring now in Bundesliga ...

Saturday

Bielefeld- Duisburg: Bielefeld -0.5 @ 2.11

Two big time struggling teams. Bielefeld lost all 3 games this year so far, but if they have any chance this season it was always at home. At least they are beating the lower team on their home ground and this match is a big opportunity to slown down the slide against a another bottom team. They welcome Kauf and Böhme (their whole midfield back) for the game, which should make it easier to create some chances.
Duisburg has only one point from last 4 games and has already some heartbreaking losses this year with injury time goals (like last week s 2-3 home loss to Stuttgart). They are sitting in last place and have one big problem and that s defense..they have to change the defense always every game due to suspensions or injury. For this game again two of the defenders are out. Overall this is not good in an away game where the home team has probably some extra motivation to make a big point.

Leverkusen- Schalke: over 2.5 @ 1.85 !! 1 units!!!

Top match of the day. Leverkusen is on a hot streak and should have extra confidence from thursday s 5-1 win over Galatasaray. Only problem I see is that they are playing on one day rest, but they made some early substitution in the Uefa-cup game, so maybe it s not that bad. Their keeper Adler, who was key to their recent success is out for the game and did not play thursday. Thursday it was not required, but against Schalke it would be a big blow if he cant play.
Schalke is coming off Tuesday s ECL win over Porto. No real news here on the team. They were on a big up trend, but got slowed down in last week s home loss to Wolfsburg, but they simply gave this game away despite total domination (probably already looking ahead to the Port match)
Overall this is a very open game where everything can happen.
But there will be scoring. Leverkusen plays with a very offensive attitude at home anyway and has 8 overy in last 9 overall. Schalke played over in 6 of last 7 games and especially their last away games were 3-2,2-2,3-2…both teams simply try to outscore their opponents as the defences are nott too solid right now.

Frankfurt- Bremen: Bremen -0.5 @ 2.06

A lot of talk is/was about this Fenin guy for Frankfurt who had two great matches to start the year, but this came all back down to earth in last week s loss to Rostock. Even with Frankfurt a dangerous home team they are still just an average midfield team and Bremen is in a big fight with München for the championship.
Bremen played late Thursday night at Braga, but rest should be no problem as they already rested half the team for the UEFA-match. Only problem I see here is that key-player Diego is maybe out..he will be game time decision. He has a strange injury and talk was early in the week that he is just rested in Braga, but now there is a bit doubt that it might be more serious. I ll update on that. He is still game time decision
Overall Bremen won last 4 visits to Frankfurt. So no problem with history here.

Stuttgart- Karlsruhe: no play

That s a big derby and much extra motivation for Stuttgart in it as the newcomer Karlsruhe has put the order of strength in the region a bit upside-down with the surprising season. This will be close and despite recent form going for Karlsruhe it will be unpredictable

Wolfsburg- Berlin: Wolfsburg -0.5 @ 1.98 !! 2 units!! and over 2.5 @ 1.87

Wolfsburg on a big up trend, winning last 4 games plus a big cup match. They are coming off a surprising away win at Schalke and should be very motivated and able to beat Berlin at home. Berlin is unpredictable as ever. But they are very weakn in away games losing 7 with 2 wins. They are hit or miss, but most times miss.
Wolfsburg has played the last 5 home games way over the number as they usually have plenty off scoring , but cant get anybody shut down. Berlin is lately especially in away games the same. Going in 5 of last 6 away games over (and most of them with both teams scoring)
Raffael, Ebert and Friedrich (all key players for Berlin) are all doubtful to make a start being back from illness or injury. Even if they play it will not be 100 %. That should help the home win.

2.Bundesliga

Osnabrück- Gladbach: Osnabrück +0.5 @ 1.85 and over 2.5 @ 1.85

Difficult game and both plays are more of a lean.
Osnabrück lost 2 weeks ago the first home game since 1.5 years, but they rebounded with an away win last week. So they are confident to take on the league leader today and the I don’t count too much in the home loss…it still remains difficult to win at Osnabrück. Players are all available and it should be a big fight for them.
Meanwhile the league leader Gladbach is struggling big time getting only one point in 3 games this year. Something is wrong with the team right now and they now have the extra pressure of being beatable and possible loosing the top spot. Most of the first half of season they were so far ahead in standings that they could always play without the fear of loosing which was a big help- this will be a close match with a likely draw. The over is also a good option as both teams will try to win. Gladbach can only attack (that s their style) and Osnabrück will look for the chance at home.

Aachen- Wehen: over 2.5 @1.85

Aachen played 8 of 10 home games over the number..it s the special atmosphere which is created in their stadium which often leads to big fights and full offensive go for 90 min. But they are also weak on defense which leads too many overs.
Wehen played better lately. After starting with a home loss they responded with a 2-0 away win and a 3-0 home win. So they are dangerous at th emoment and should be able to score here, which should lead to the over. They are sometimes able to shut down opponents but I don’t think they can Aachen today

Augsburg- Offenbach: Augsburg –0.5 @1.85 and over 2.5 @2.05

Augsburg is a very strong home team and won 4 of last 6 here (with 2 draws). Overall they have started the year with two solid wins followed by last week s away loss to Freiburg in which they actually were the better team. So I don’t see any problem with form here. Loast 2 games were ending just 1-0,0-1 which lead to the coach stressing a better offensive approach for today.
Offenbach is the second worst away team in league. Theat was shown again in a helpless 1-3 loss at lowly Aue 2 weeks ago. They conceide simply a lot of goals. 7 of last 8 away games went over the number.Their coach said this week that they played too cautious in last games and that they will change that be more aggressive and more offensive ,especially in away games..hopefully that will lead to the necessary goals.

Aue- Paderborn: over 2.5,2 @1.98

Two bottom teams facing each other. Aue has a decent home record and is coming of a 3-1 home win over lowly Offenbach, but Paderborn is playing better after the winter break with the new coach, but still they have no away wins whole season. After being an amazing under team they have now plaed all three games over as I predicted and I ll keep riding the trend. It s still a much more open approach to the gaes than before which leads to scoring on both end of the pitch.

1. Bundesliga to come later as status of Van der Vaart and Ribery are still game time decision

good day so far after yesterday s distaster

1. Bundesliga

München- Hamburg : Hamburg +1 @ 1.85
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Both van der Vaart and Ribery will be on their team , but it s still no decision if they will start. This in mind van der Vaart will not be the deciding factor here IMO as Hamburg is playing a more defensive style anyway. Both teams are in good form and Hamburg is basing it s success on a great defense. This usually leads to less scoring chances for the other teams (this hold already Bremen and othe roffensive teams to unders this season). München had big problems to create scoring chances without Ribery playing and even if he plays he will not be 100 %. That should reduce their offensive power and should lead to a close game. Another fact is that Hamburg will not be scare playing here. They actually won the last 2 away games at München , something which is very rare to achieve even once.
i also believe that München s coach Hitzfeld will not play all or nothing for a win. he was satisfied with a draw at home to Bremen and if this is even in second half i expect the same here. +1 is way too much and the under might also be a nice play although a 2-1 is possible.
