Augsburg- DUisburg over 2.5 @ 2.01

it s a top match with both teams playing well at the moment. Duisburg is playing a lot of high scoring games lately. they score a lot and should do again today, but they also conceide a lot of goals, even against weaker team than Augsburgs...it s one of those games where i like both teams to score and hope for one team with two goals...should be possible.

Regionalliga Nord:

Wilhelmshafen- Osnabrück: Osnabrück -0.5 @ 1.98

on paper a clear mismatch with the league leader vs. one of the bottom teams. only problem is that Osnabrück has some injury problems, but they should have still enough to get the win here.

1. Bundesliga

Gladbach- Hamburg: Gladbach pk @ 1.93

Big match in relegation fight. Gladbach is in last place and got probably one of the last chances in today s match. Their main problem is that they dont get points in away matches. But at home they are much better. they have 20 of 25 pts at home. They also played well in their last matches at home vs. good opposition. 3-1 vs. Berlin a solid 2-2 vs. Bremen and a 1-1 vs. Frankfurt which they shouldhave won. Hamburg after some success, based mainly on solid defense, came back to earth last week in a 2-4 home loss to STuttgart..it was actually much vs. as STuttgart led already 4-0 after 50 min.
They have one key-defender Atouba out with injury for 3 weeks and will definetely not be able to dominate Gladbach here in an away game. They will be very happy with a draw (which is possible), but if somebody wins it will be Gladbach. Strong home record and desperate for a win should give them a very good chance to close the gap tp the other teams.

Mainz- Schalke: Schalke pk,-0.5 @ 1.81 !! 2 units!!

Schalke got back on track with last weeks win over Gladbach..players are getting healthy again and they are alomost back to full strength. Lincoln is back from a long suspension which should give them a boost a much more creativity in their game.
Mainz meanwhile is back to earth after a suprising run at the beginning of they year. They lost 4 of last 5 and are back in 17th place now. League leader Schalke will be too much for them. Schalke is a very clever away team against weaker teams and normally is getting these kind of wins.

Bochum- Berlin: Bochum pk,-0.5 @ 1.89

Bochum got a big jump from relegation zone after last week s win at Leverkusen. They are playing confident football at the moment and especially at home getting the points (wins over Hannover and Dortmund in last 2)
Berlin meanwhile is struggeling big time..from being a contender for Uefa cup they are suddenly close to relegation zone. They are panicing completely and have fired their coach during the week. New coach is the former B-Team coach..i dont think that will help much. They are terrible in away game the whole season and with the latest weak results at home they will definetely not play with confidence here.

Stuttgart- Hannover: Stuttgart -0.5,-1 @ 1.86

This looks easy on paper. STuttgart got back on track last week and played a dominant 4-2 at Hamburg. They seem to be full of confidence again. hannover is a bit the opposite. They are not a bad team, but somehow dont produce the right results. I ll go with Stuttgart as the value is with them, but i got a feeling it will be closer than everybody is expecting.

Nürnberg - Aachen: Aachen +1 @ 1.80

Aachen is coming off two losses now, but they are not to under-estimate, as they are always able to score.
Nürnberg is in big injury trouble on offense. None of the regular strikers is available and so i dont think they will blow out Aachen..it will be close with a possible upset.

Köln- Freiburg: Köln pk,-0.5 @ 2.05

Freiburg is the hottest team in league right now and unbeaten in last 11, but today is one of the toughest teast since a long time.
Köln in the mid of the table is playing much better since Köln s coach took the pressure of promotion off the team and let s the players officially play for positions i next year team. they have 10 points from last 4 games. it s an open match, but generally i think Köln is a better team when playing against better teams than playing vs. bottom teams which only want to defend. Freiburg is maybe happy with a draw here, but they have to go for the win at one stage to stay in promotion race. that should play in Köln s hands.

Karlsruhe- Koblenz: Karlsruhe -1 @ 1.87 !! 2 units!!

KArlsruhe the league leader is struggeling a bit lately, but at home they are still dominant. Koblenz is in the mid of the table, but a recent slump put them in danger again...they even lost last week at home to one of t he bottom teams Essen and something goes not right at the moment..its the perfect spot for the much better team to get back on track at home and almost clinch the promotion.

Essen- Unterhaching: Essen pk,-0.5 @1.87

big match between two teams playing against relegation. both are right on the cut line and playing better lately. But Unterhaching got only the win in last weeks home game, while Essen is already on a very good stretch since 5 weeks (only one loss and 2 big away wins). It will be a hard fought match with the home advantage probably the deciding factor

Offenbach- Burghausen: over 2.5 @ 1.95

ANother match between two bottom teams. Burghausen is on a very solid stretch right now and is full of confidence after recent wins, while Offenbach, after looking almost secured, is in a big slump (loosing 7 of last 9). it s a must win for them, but also a big chance for Burghause. both teams will go for the win and will probably score, which gives the over a big chance. Burghausen is a funny team regarding totals anyway: 8 of last 11 went way over with at least 4 goals...the 3 under were all 0-0 draws...so once a goal is scored it opens up..hopefully again today

another positive day so far with the big play hitting again.

München- Leverkusen: München -1,-1.5 @ 2.0

i got this earlier at -1, which would be a 2 unit play, but at -1.25 only for 1 unit.
München after the terrible loss during the week in ECL now only playing for champ.qualification spot in league (3rd place)...so all the focus should be on that, especially with Stuttgart already winning yesterday. they are definetely not dominant at the moment, but should still have a good chance of bouncing back against Leverkusen with is suddenly struggeling mightily...after a very hot streak they lost 0-3 at home to Osassuna in UEFA cup, 1-4 to lowly Bochum at home and 0-1 at Ossasuna (not counting that to heavily as they rested players). but definetely they are not full of confidence...their only really in -form player Schneider is out with suspension for today s match, so creativity will be rare today. als big trouble on offense as striker Kiessling is also out due to suspension.
not a good spot to face a München team, which will be out to prove something to the home fans.

Dortmund- Bremen: over 2.5 @ 1.79

leaning towards Bremen as both teams go in different directions and bremen should be back on track with thursday s uefa-cup win, but i have a feeling that it will be a very close match with possible upset...over is the better option here. Bremen is hot on offense again and will go for it after shalke s win yesterday, while dortmund need a win ans has shown in last weeks 4-1 that thy can score.
