Nürnberg- München: München -0.5 @ 2.05 !! 2 units !!

what a start in the second half of the season.after wednesday s games three teams fired their coaches (münchen, hamburg and gladbach). so a lot of things will change for the teams from the past. to start with München today: after a disappointing start afdter the winter break (2-3 at Dortmund -- a game they should have won and 0-0 vs. Bochum) they fired coach Magath and have now Hitzfeld back in business, the coach before Hitzfeld with whom they won the champ.league. so he is immideately comfortable with the team and the club-suroundings. that s a unusual situation for a "new" coach, but should only work in münchen s favour to turn the ship around.
overall they are the better team tonight. Nürnberg has big injury problems and as this is a bavarian derby i also dont see much of a home-advantage being a factor. Bayern won 4 of last 5 games at Nürnberg.
They should be very motivated to get back in the title race with an away win today. Good spot, better team, i ll go for it.

i can only say ouch!! in first half they were at least in the game after that it was one of the worst showings i ve seen from munich. :ughhh:
sorry for those who followed, but this went absolutely not acc. to plan and is simply a big surprising result here in germany.
i ll be back with saturday s games.

1. Bundesliga

Wolfsburg- Leverkusen: Leverkusen pk,+0.5 @ 2.06 and over 2.5 @ 1.93

Leverkusen came solid out of the winter-break with a 3-2 away win at aachen and a 0-2 at home to league leader Bremen. But in the bremen match they were the dominant team and even Bremen admits that it should have been at least a draw.
Wolfsburg on the other hand got a boost by new player Marcelinho, but lost unlucky 1-2 at Berlin and was held to a 2-2 home draw by Frankfurt. So overall nothing has really changed for them. they are still struggeling to get results and remain a mediocre team. therefore a good chance for Leverkusen to get points here. The over is always an obviuos play with Leverkusen as they are also able to score. Wolfsburg at home should also be able to score and their defenses is not looking so solid anymore than in first half of season.

Bielefeld- Gladbach: Bielefeld pk,-0.5 @ 1.85

i am still not sold on Bielefeld. they are solid somehow this year, but have big problems to make the play on their own. but they are getting results done at home. This is more a play against Gladbach which has not won since ages (i am tired of looking into the stats here, but they have not won since more than one year). Gladbach is not a bad team, but they fail to produce results (especially away) over and over. dont go overboard withthe play as they have a new coach since wednesday, but it s the assistant of former coach heynckes and not a lot of changes are expected.

Aachen- Hannover: over 2.5,3 @1.93

going with the over here in what should be a close match. Aachen heading south right now after 2-3 loss to leverkusen and 1-2 loss at schalke, but they are still a dangerous team playing at home... and they score a lot at home, while being very weak on defense. a perfect setup for the over.
Hannover lost 3-0 at bremen and came back with a 5-0 win over berlin on wednesday...i have no idea which team will show up today. only sure thing is they will go for the win which should lead to the over again.

all other matches are even closer to call:

Berlin lost 0-5 at hannover (no idea what happened there), but have won 7 of last 9 home games vs. hamburg. Hamburg is still playing terrible, but fired their coach on thurday. van der vaart is back from suspension. draw is very likely.

Frankfurt should be theon paper pick vs. mainz, but mainz started the second half with 2 wins, after getting only one in whole first half..maybe new confidence is back and a surprising draw here.

Cottbus- Bochum: to bottom teams with on/off performances. bochum lossing to mainz and drawing at Munich ???? cottbus very similar...no idea what will happen...better bet the coin toss in superbowal (you can get 2.20 there for a side)

Hamburg took 1-nil lead at 1st half. It would be a shock if they can hang on in 2nd half. C'mon Hamburg!! Drag you butts out of relegation zone.

hamburg is the better team right now. they were lucky when berlin missed a penalty, but this is still an absolutely open game and there will be more scoring to come.
Leverkusen also a bit unlucky so far and still in the match.
Nice to watch 2nd half with both totals already a winner is 1st half

2. Bundesliga

Köln- Jena: Köln -1,-1.5 @ 1.89 !! 2 units!!

Köln finally got the first win with coach daum last week 3-1 at Burghausen.
they played much more inspired than in the home draw to Augsburg before. main reason IMO was that the new players, bought in the winter break, finally were healthy. they did not play in first game vs. Augsburg. For today s match even new striker Andre will play who had already a big impact on the team during friendly matches , but was out last two week with a minor injury.
Today s line-up has changed now completely to the one in the first half of the season. 2 very experiences defenders, two new strikers and a new midfield..and they seem to start klicking.
Jena on the other hand is in deep relegation trouble. they got only one point of last 6 matches and heading south. last week they lost even at the worst team in the standings right now. it will be very tough for them to stay close in this match.

Rostock- Fürth: Fürth pk,+0.5 @ 2.05 and under 2.5 @ 1.95

The best team in the first half rostock is suddenly struggeling. undefeated in first half they lost both games after the break and did only score once in last 5 matches. Fürth on the other hand started with a inspirering and confidence boosting 3-0 away win at munich and a solid 2-0 home win to Koblenz. they could be due to a positive run.
Overall their success is based on a solid defense.. combined with rostock s offensive struggles, but still solid defense we have a good chance for an under at a max of 2 goals here.

all other games in 2. Liga are tough today and even the tempting totals of 2 in two games are looking like right on the money.

Bremen - Schalke : Schalke +0.5 @ 1.92 and over 2.5,3 @ 1.85 !! 2 units!!

that s the top match in german football. 1st vs. 2nd. both teams off a solid start after the break with two wins. there is simply not much between the teams. even with Bremen at home as Schalke is a strong away team and has already beaten bremen this season. after all comments Schalke will not be afraid to go for three points. it s still early in the season and a loss is not deciding the champ.therefore schalke wants to play offensive football and they should be able to score vs. Bremen. Bremen s strength as we all know is the offense. everything ponts to an entertaining offensive minded game with at least 3 goals and very good chance for 4.

Dortmund- Stuttgart: over 2.5 @ 2.02

i dont understand that total. it should be at least 2.75. Stuttgart is an over team, especially away, as they are dangerous on offense and vulnurable on defense. only reason for the under is that Dortmund sometimes struggles to score. but as seen in the 3-2 win over München they should be able to get on the board and bring the total over.
