Friday
1. Bundesliga
Mainz- Bremen: Bremen -0.5,-1 @ 1.84
Bremen is clearly the better team here. In addition they are ona good streak and a solid away team. Mainz on the other hand will definetely play against relegation this year. they have not won in last 7 games. Their only hope is playing at home. that s the only place theyare competitive in this league at the moment, but that might not be enough today. first open critics against their coach came this week, which s very unusual for Mainz, but not a good sign. Bremen cannot afford to leave any points here in a tight race for the championship. And playing friday should give them also enough time before the CL not to think ahead of the midweek match at Sofia.
2. Bundesliga
Augsburg- München: under 2,2.5 @ 1.83
Both teams struggeling at the moment. in theory München should be better, but they are not in form. What both teams have in common are strong defenses and problems to score. i am looking for the same today.
München had only one game this season going over 2 goals, while Augsburg also had just one going over 2.
Braunschweig- Fürth: Fürth pk @ 1.88
Fürth is the better team here and got an outside chance to play for promotion this year, but they are struggeling at the moment a bit and coming off a awful 3-5 home loss to Duisburg ina a game they ahd absolutely under control till the 60th min.
Braunschweig is struggeling big time and is in 17th place right now. they changed the coach and lost again last weekend 0-3. that s usually not a good sign if a team loses first game with new coach. TEy might be able to hang in with Fürth(especially at home), but if this does not end in a draw i prefer the away team here.
Regionalliga Nord:
ST.Pauli- Gladbach: St. Pauli -1,-1.5 @ 2.02
Two teams heading in different direction. St.Pauli unbeaten in six coming off a confidence boosting away derby win. Gladbach coming from a lower league is struggeling big time in regionalliga and has lost all 6 away games so far this season.
