For friday

Regionalliga Nord:

Oberhausen- Essen: Essen to win @ 1.80

Essen is one of the top teams in league. they started last week with a solid home win over düsseldorf and should get another one today.
Oberhausen is struggeling against relegation. they did not play last week due to bad weather, which is another factor i like essen, who has already one game under their belt after winter break...this is a derby and you can expect lot's of essen fans in the stadium (cities sharing a border), probably even more than oberhausen fans.
Go with the better team as their is no real home advantage today

2. Bundesliga

Aachen match is cancelled already

Karlsruhe- Aue: under 2.5 @ 1.83

2 under teams here facing each-other. this is a no-brainer for me..almost a 2-unit play

Dresden- München: München pk @ 1.80

München much better at away than at home. dresden is struggeling big time since 12!!! weeks now. München has shown some better play lately under new coach and should at least not loose here.

not a good start in the weekend at all for me, but to be honest i would take the karlsruhe under again. the game was just out of control..this happens.

on to Saturday

1. Bundesliga

Bielefeld- Stuttgart: Bielefeld pk @ 2.13

Not a strong play as both teams havent shown me much so far after winter-break. Stuttgart sacked trappatoni, so they will play a bit more offensive and attractive football now. that's enough to keep me from going under, which would have been the play with trappatoni.
Stuttgart got Hinkel and Hitzelsberger two key players hurt today, so i am going with the home-team in what should be a pretty open affair.

Frankfurt- Hannover: Frankfurt pk,-0.5 @ 1.90 and under 2.5,3 @ 1.84

Both teams are in surprisingly good form at the moment. Frankfurt coming off an away win got Chris back and played recently very strong at home. Hannover coming off derby win over Hamburg hasn't also lost since 5 games under their new coach, but today could be the day against a very confident Frankfurt team. It will be close and probably low scoring

Hamburg- Mainz: Hamburg -1 @ 2.02

One of the best home teams against one of the worst away teams. Ailton's injury might even help Hamburg, as it looked in last few matches that they rely to much on him to win alone. Back t old strength for hamburg today

Schalke- Leverkusen: No play

Just a side note: Leverkusen +0.5 is the right side looking at the lasts matches, but i somehow got the feeling Schalke gets it done today...therefore a lay off for me.

Bremen- Kaiserslauter: Kaiserslautern +2 @ 1.85

This is a bet purely on the line. Ofcause it's a mismatch, but to lay two goals in Bundesliga is too much against any team. If Bremen wins by 3, i ll give them all my respect, but at +2 i ll bet every team in thois league (i earlier won on Kaiserslautern at Munich for +2, where they almost drew).

Wolfsburg- Berlin: Berlin pk @ 2.02

Two struggeling teams, but Berlin has shown some hope against Munich during the week.Overall they are the better team,more dangerous in away games anyway IMO.
Something is going wrong in Wolfsburg...they are struggeling big time..got the monkey off their back) at least they thought) with a 2-0 win over awful Gladbach, but came straight back loosing 0-4 to Leverkusen. They are heading in wrong direction, but what's even more dangerous is that due to a good start they have not really realized it to the full extend. This usually causes trouble and lack of efford.
Berlin with a good chance to get their first win of the year today.

Frankfurt & Under: No opinion but I'll take your word for it and bet both.
HSV: I've already posted that pick in my own thread.
Schalke: My thoughts exactly! I too believe that Leverkusen +0.5 is the right play but I have a gut feeling that tells me to stay away!
Kaiserslautern: Like them too.
Hertha Berlin: Same as for the Frankfurt-pick.

Do you have any opinions or info regarding today's bundesliga II match between Hansa Rostock and Bochum.

I am leaning towards ROSTOCK and UNDER. Any information or opinion would be appreciated.

no important new for the match.
for me it s too tough to call. these are two top teams, both on a solid run.
bochum is also somewhat unpredictable lately with the totals. they are very solid on defense, but covered the total themselves a couple of times.
They are one of the teams, which can react quite good to the situation.

If Bochum scores first..chance for under are great. if rostock scores first bochum will open up and bring the over.
So it s up to you...i ll enjoy olympia and have a look at seria B tonight.
Actually i like catania pk and the over. Any opinion on that?
