The second round of the ACC Tournament features Pitt (Over 19-12) taking on Georgia Tech (Under 15-12-2) in what should be an easy win for the Panthers, but I’m looking at that 143.5-point total at SBK– and the projected final score of Pitt 74, Georgia Tech 67.
The Yellow Jackets are obviously the kind of team we want for this bet. They rank No. 203 on offense and No. 137 on defense according to Ken Pomeroy’s efficiency stats, with the No. 218-ranked Adjusted Tempo at 66.7 possessions per game.
Pittsburgh (No. 29 offense, No. 107 defense, No. 185 pace) aren’t the ideal fit here, but at least they only get in 67.3 possessions per game – and overtime is unlikely with them laying seven points.
