PS. I am not apart of any rx conspiracy to want whatever you are referring to. I check Ip's daily and if we see matches with problematic posters, then they are limited to one name. I have always said, I do not mind a ghost as long as he/she is a nice ghost.

You know I respect you and I respect how busy your are as well. I just saw this thread, and even though it is old, I had a comment. I am not by any stretch accusing you of a conspiracy, but I am making a valid point,
That if indeed what you and forums heads want is a clean productive forum, then allowing for all these people to have multiple "names" is allowing for the TOUT propaganda that you are trying to avoid.
What stops one poster to come in like a friendly Joe.....log off and come back in and reply to his/her owm thread as a loud mouth tout.???
And then when I read that you actually revealed that one person has over 8 different "go by names" I jsut do not get it!
So My final comment on this is the RX has to stop sitting on the fence.
You want a clean productive forum, track by ISP addresses and deter multiple handles.
If not then one could say, that the RX is feeding it's own fire with ghost posters everywhere increasing fake energy, and then the forum MODS putting messages out saying stop the advertising and fake touting.
JUST CANNOT SEE HOW YOU CAN HAVE IT BOTH WAYS. I think you know some of us are a bit more intellectual then most, and we see some TRANSPARENCY. THANKS

Newport - FYI, almost all of Kodiak's ghosts never posted. Whenever a new poster shows up, we do check his IP for matches. If a new ghost or poster is abusive or profane we ban him immediately. Also (although I have never seen this) it is policy to ban one ghost, if the same poster carries on a posting conversation with himself, ghost to ghost, or ghost to original handle. If that makes any sense. Bottom line there is zero conspiracy to increase traffic by allowing multiple ghosts. Posters create their own, and we as moderators do our best to control them. Trust me when I say it is more than enough work involved to moderate a one handle per poster forum. None of us want multiple handles running around making our jobs any tougher.
