General- Not as honest as you think

I'm trying not to take shots at anyone unless they start. Since General took some shots at me today I'll give my thoughts General.

I'll use this example. There's a guy running a business and employees lie but it to generate businees. The boss knows about the lies yet the boss does nothing about it. Customers point it out to the boss yet he always backs the customer. In a case like this the boss is as dishonest as the employees.

General knows that guys pad their record, use email plays as part of their record and use ghosts to bump threads. All this generates views and helps the RX. Since it helps the General does nothing about it. When posters go into threads of guys using these dishonest tactics General will edit or delete the posts. People have pointed out these lies to the General and he's well aware of what's going on.

I consider General as dishonest as the guy's padding and lying to get views. Yes, General is honest if you ask him a direct question but many times he'll ignore questions he doesn't want to answer. It's the same way he ignores the lies that posters tell that help the RX. General isn't as honest as people think.

General took some shots at me out of left field. He's a big man, he can take it. Wil- I'm not sure who changed more between you and Irish since the mod tag was applied to their name. Is get a life the best that you can do? Looks like a labotamy is part of the process in becoming a mod.

It's a shame that in order to be successful in the business world -- I mean the Rx here, not just the General -- you have to tell people what they want to hear which is quite often different from the truth. It's impossible to do an excellent job as a mod and be 100% honest at the same time unfortunately.

I just read my original post and posted some errors but I'm sure everyone gets the idea. I meant to say the boss always backs the employees even when the customer points out lies that the boss is aware of.

All the mods have big egos. I've come to accept that a long time ago. My primary reason for coming to the Rx is to read what's happening with the government and potential legislation concerning online wagering. The man (Jeffery _ from North Dakota) who apparently is an honest man and claimed his winnings on Income tax was an eye opener. Then again he claimed his vocation as "professional gambler" . Some other good information also along these lines.

It's fun to read occassionally who likes which team in what game. But--I have to laugh at how serious many here take it. Anyone that comes here to get their predictions to wager on--must not really enjoy the exercise anyway. To me it's just funny--like asking Wayne Root or some other tout for a free pick.

I don't take too much here seriously any more. I'd be even more a basket case than I already am-- Enjoy.

Sorry, no one will ever compare to Irish McPatrick (Fish's pal) in the "change" department. Can't see anyone ever coming close. The transformation from verbose good guy to verbose total azzhole was unprecedented.

Wil, on the other hand, is limited in what he can say and the positions he can take. What you see from him may well be what he feels is the appropriate thing for him to say, given his status as an employee. There is nothing wrong with this, in fact it is to be respected, in my opinion.

No one lies and twists things to fit their agenda more than Raiders. This clown is the joke. General, Fish, Wil, Bucs, and Dante all have a high degree of self respect from what I have seen. Yes they are on a team, but they are all individuals on the "mod" team, and it shows. They all do what they think is a win win for the RX and their fellow posters.

Raiders is nothing but a biiitch and cries when he doesn't get things his way, or if someone has a different view point than his own.

I can almost picture Raiders with his face pressed against the glass again longing to be allowed back in over here, LOL. Thank GOD I'm not a moderator these days, almost embarrassing how much ass Raiders kissed trying to be let back in after he got banned each time. He'll probably send off over 20 e-mails begging the RX to allow him back in again, what a pain in the butt it was after he was banned, he always felt bad later and "wished he could take it back". Funny stuff!

Yea, almost as bad as how you are slowly trying to sneak back in. Put a couple of posts in, test the water, and then when everyone comes with the "stiffs" and "deadbeats", disappear for a little while.

I notice you are getting a little more brave recently though
