It does seem awfully peculiar that every game but one was a one score game. I cant find the reasoning behind the 2 point attempt. Maybe I'm missing some angle. I was on Tampa and if by some miracle they recover the onsides and then score.....never mind too many ifs. Would love to hear the analytics behind this one.

Tell me WHY Tampa Bay goes for 2 at the game . Please tell .
So they could cut it to a 9 point game lol. That made absolutely NO sense to go for 2.

Practice? Lol. I doubt they were thinking about anyone's possible teaser bets and since they had absolutely no way to come back and win, maybe it was just that, practice. Who knows.

The only think I could think of is down 9 if they can some how get a safety they would be down 7 with a chance to tie or win with it being their choice though it seems very unlikely
Doesn't anyone ever ask these coaches these questions?

Same thing in Denver/Arizona game.

Cards score td, down 9 and go for 2 pt, miss

Nah that made sense
The get the 2 pointer they are down 7
At that point they can choose to win it on the road with another 2 point conversion

It was all about the teasers. There were 49 seconds left. If you kick the extra point your down 10. If you make the 2 point conversion you are down 9 still 2 scores and again 49 seconds left.

t hawk - you are correct
Why would you go for two down 9 ?
Kick the point and you are down eight - 1 possession
Go for two and miss you are down 9 - 2 possessions - and you are screwed
Simple math
I don't give a shit what anybody says

You don't understand. If you miss the 2 point conversion you are screwed either way
If you kick the xp and gotfor two at the end and miss it you still lose Either way you need to make one
If you make it you still need OT

If you go for 2 the first TD and make it and are down 7 it becomes a choice to win it or go to OT if you score again
If you miss it you probably lose but still have 6 minutes to know you have to score twice

Maybe question why all these dumb ass teams are tied into analytics

Tell me how many coaches factor in the teaser aspect when making decisions?

You don't understand
Do you know the difference between a one possession game and a 2 possession game ?
The goal is not to avoid overtime - It's to stay in the game
Kick the point and you are down 8 - 1 possession and still in the game
The analytics can kiss my ass - I am right

You have more options to win going for 2 the first time
If you can't make the 2 either way it means nothing
It just seems more dramtic to say the game is on the line if they kick the xp and make it a 8 point game in the end with the chance to tie
It is a one possession game if they make the 2pt conversion on the 1st TD

Why don’t you study the analytics of the NFL and get back to me. I totally agree with you but you have to understand the difference between an nfl team trying to win a game vs you winning your $20 teaser

I don't blame anyone for being mad about it either way. I was pissed Titans didn't go for 2 when they scored to make it 14-13 with 48 seconds left
