1)ESPN's Daily Wager is mediocre. Too much yapping, not serious enough for betting discussions. They can provide some decent ATS stats.

The host Doug Kezirian is good at what he does but like most of his colleagues, a fade when it comes to betting.

Preston Johnson, a robotic no emotion stoic modern day Mr.Spock. You would figure this geek with his analytics can churn out a profit instead doles out losers on the whole. Hate when he delves into a long monologue of reasons and stats on a game and then passes! Happens often. An unsure skittish gambler.

Anita Marks this loud Cuban needs to decaf. An average capper which is better than most there who thinks she knows her shit.

Joe Fortenbaugh, I like him but the success has not been there. Sound good reasoning and with solid theories and stats but has trouble hitting the bottom line, win the wager!

Stanford Steve, fun and entertaining but subpar. The best capper by far worth listening to is the Puck Daddy, Greg Wyshinski is nails when it comes to the NHL. Chris "the Bear" Fallica is okay but not flourishing when on this show.

2) Daily Wager is pretty good. Good banter, funny and provides gambling content. I really like that they scaled it back to half an hour as one hour was too much for this show. More often than not it struggled and dragged when it was longer.

The hostess, Rachel Bonnetta is a babe and easy on the eyes. Very funny and keeps things flowing.

The best capper is easily Todd Fuhrman, has a sports betting podcast and former oddsmaker, I like that perspective. Has a very good understanding of several sports and provides winning picks. Cousin Sal Iacono funny, knowledgeable and long time gambler. Clay Travis also entertainingly funny and plays the show's foil and bad guy, can be genuinely annoying. He's a fade and not a good capper.

Feel free to chime in your thoughts if you've ever watched.

Preston is annoying talking about his projections.. If you're on TV talking about these games , you need to give more about your reasons why your on a side than having a 1 pt projection advantage here or there. That's all good at home breaking down your games , but not really helpful for the tv viewer..

Barstool sports has a couple shows on youtube. One of them has stu feiner on it. The only reason is to fade him. The guy is the worst.

I like the Joe/Doug partnership hosting the show. Preston is leading the way down, as the overall best bets were far below break-even before the move to Vegas and these "experts" are dropping below 500 again. Preston quotes a bunch of stats and favorable trends then picks a loser 70% of the time. I actually bet the picks by Puck Daddy and that has been very successful long term.

They all try to prove how smart they are by quoting inane baseball stats. They have to prove they are the smartest person in the room as, for instance, on an NFL Sunday someone picks an obscure linebacker to go over the tackle total...that was a loser. With all of the sports/games, that's the best bet pick...really?

Could live without the Bear, Steve is entertaining and it is still good to see Hank Goldberg although he seems to be more and more challenged

VSIN is the best of the group. I do appreciate a show devoted to gambling so am thankful to ESPN for having one hour of useful programming per day. Someone will soon notice the lack of diversity if you don't count Anita who, do doubt, is pre-op.

I like fox crew - I see them on You tube and usually listen in - Agree Furhman is the Best of that bunch and Rachel is pretty cute - good Canadian Kid!

The Bet on it crew who sell picks only hits .500 or less on the secondary picks they give out free but if listen they always went 6-3 or 9-4 last weekend ...They are no better than us - They're teasers are worth skipping to the end for

Yes...Daily Wager on ESPN at 3:00 pst. They usually have Hank on Friday to give three NFL picks...he was very good last year...this year not so much. He still does a lot of the LV logo panels that they have, usually at Stations properties, before big events like the NCAA tournament or big horse races. I also always enjoyed his commentary.

^

Hank ruled South Florida radio for a LONG time.

Lebatard wiped him out 15 years ago.

Ran into Hank a dolphins game a few years back. He didnt look to good. I asked him who's the "pick" today and he told me it was the dolphins opponent (i forgot what game). Hank was right!!

He's had some HOT years

I agree by far the best of them all but one has to subscribe to see the show in it's entirety

On point with you azbob. Is Goldberg sick or suddenly aged 10-15 years in past year or two?

Hard to say if he is sick. Last year he did a panel before the Breeder's Cup and as he was on stage when another member was talking, he grabbed a bottle of water and could not get the cap off...a waitress eventually helped him out. I think it is probably some various conditions, but mostly age. You see the same thing with Lee Corso although Hank is still able to speak clearly and coherently.

There's a weekly column with guest pickers in the local LV newspaper and Hank participates in that too in terms of providing his picks.

Would that be the Las Vegas Review Journal?
