For those of you that aren't aware, there have been issues going on and an investigation in full swing involving Glory MMA Coach James Krause, his team and one of his fighters.

Cliff Notes:

Krause went on Ariel Helwani's podcast a few months ago and revealed he makes more money gambling on fights than he does coaching. He went on to say he runs a discord that he charges an entry fee for and also takes over people's betting accounts. As you can imagine, this created some questions from the UFC about Krause, his team and his fighters. On that podcast, he admitted to gambling on fighters he corners.

A few weeks later, the UFC implemented a new code of conduct policy stating coaches, fighters and anyone else associated with a fighter or fight was disallowed from gambling on any UFC fight.

A few weeks after that Krause's fighter Darrick Minner was scheduled to fight. His opponent was around -225 but his line jumped to -425 just 30 minutes before the fight. Of particular interest was the Round 1 KO prop and the fact Minner's opponent had never KO'd someone in the UFC before. Wouldn't you know it? Minner came into the fight with a torn ACL and was KO'd promptly in the first round causing much speculation as to Minner possibly throwing the fight or Krause getting down on that Round 1 prop which I believe was around +400.

Fast forward to yesterday. The City of Ontario's books have now been directed to no longer take bets on the UFC and today, we found out Krause's license has been pulled in Nevada, Minner was cut by the UFC and fighters that belong to Glory MMA are no longer allowed to fight in the UFC as long as they are at that gym with James Krause.

This guy and his entire team to include Minner remain under investigation as to what happened that fight night. More to come.
