That would be pretty cool if there are "parallel" earths and they are looking for us. Maybe they would be even more advanced than us.

It always surprises me when scientists think like this. They are trying to take our current technological levels and extrapolate out from there.

Yes, I always find it amusing when so-called scientists claim, without proof, that certain things are impossible.

It seems to me that much of what science has achieved in terms of technology is based upon wild ideas that seem improbable. So much so that I sometimes consider that our limits are conditioned by what we are capable of dreaming about.

I have always liked Asimov's comment that any sufficiently advanced civilization seems like magic to those not so advanced. A simple example being the European death sticks that the indigenous North Americans encountered.

It's most certainly reasonable that there are literally a couple billion intelligent life forms - many former residents of Earth who have passed to a different plane of existence - who have ability to observe the behavior and actions of our current human population.

I concur there's little doubt that most would be amused, much as we find amusement watching a young child stumbling and plodding their way through life.

When I posted that I was thinking of a cartoon by Gary Larsen or Gram Wilson, I don’t remember which, that showed two alien creatures looking down on earth with 3 mushroom clouds rising up and the caption read.. Wooo

... I think for myself...

Funny, you always come across as someone who slavishly believes every word written in the Bible, no matter how little sense it makes. But I guess I got this wrong, seeing that I'm one of the seven biggest morons. :)

Wow pictures 47 billion light years away... It means it took that light 47 billion years to get here @ the rate of 12,000 lunar orbits per earth day.

Speed of Light = 12000 Lunar Orbits / Earth Day

But 1400 years ago it was stated in the Quran (Koran, the book of Islam) that angels travel in one day the same distance that the moon travels in 1000 lunar years, that is, 12000 Lunar Orbits / Earth Day. Outside the gravitational field of the sun 12000 Lunar Orbits / Earth Day turned out to be the local speed of light!!!

This definition is independent of direction and common to all observers: An observer near a black hole, for example, sees the speed of light outside gravitational fields a zillion km/s but still equal to

Stop trying to link religion to science. This is complete nonsense that can be debunked with a simple Google search.

A Unified Global Governance under the dictatorship of the Few Over the Many would be Accomplished by Threatening the Public with a series of Internal and External Foes, neither of which would actually be real, but nonetheless feared by those who perceived it to be so...

1. Terrorism

2. Environmental Disaster

3. Aliens
