I was in the mail rturning some merchandise & my cell phone rang & it was a good "informative" frien who hasgood info. He only plays 2-3 games a week, but never has a losing week.

He said...""Hey, this is "CHRIS" ...Play GA TECH Tonight....BIG. The line opened at -17 , I got Tech at -19, it's now -20.5, but it WILL NOT MATTER...just Play it, but hurry, it starts in 3 minutes & Merry Late Christmas..Thank Me Later!"

So, as usual I took his work for it & played it really Big...30 UNITS or $3000.

But I still haven't seen or heard a score on the game. Anyone know???

Thanks---Rx-Maniac

I just saw it Finally go across the screen on CNN.......86-65.....21 & a winner!
Glad I wasn't watching it or getting an update every minute...my balls would've been real sweaty!
I doubt it was on TV, but do you know how it ended. was TECH ever up BIG, or did they cover at the end or what?

Hell...a .5 point winner +3000 ---I'll take it!

Thanks Guys---Rx-Maniac

Sounds like it was pretty close. Ga Tech had a 31-point lead in the 2nd half, but VCU cut it to 14 points with 6:50 left!

ATLANTA (Ticker) -- Georgia Tech will go into the new year without having been seriously tested.

B.J. Elder scored all but one of his 17 points in the first half as the third-ranked Yellow Jackets routed Virginia Commonwealth 86-65 to improve to 12-0 for the first time in school history.

Continuing its string of lopsided wins, Georgia Tech extended its longest winning streak since taking 15 in a row in 1985-86 and bettered the 11-0 start of the 1962-63 team, which went 21-5 but did not receive a postseason berth.

The Yellow Jackets' 26.4-point margin of victory coming in was second-biggest in the country. Georgia Tech has won eight games by at least 20 points.

Marvin Lewis scored 19 points and Jarrett Jack added 17 for the Yellow Jackets, who opened a 48-25 halftime lead and built the advantage to 31 points early in the second half.

With Elder hobbled by cramps, Georgia Tech could not maintain its intensity and VCU pulled within 70-56 on B.A. Walker's 3-pointer with 6:50 remaining.

Dominic Jones and Michael Doles scored 15 points apiece for the Rams (4-7).

This is the most blatent attempt to show off a "win" I have ever seen.
You mean to tell me that you did not check the score as soon as you got on your computer?
You do not know about score updates from yahoo, sportsline, collegesports, sportsnetwork, etc.?

I think you came on here to just tell a story.

I am absolutely confident you knew the final score when posting this.

WITHOUT A DOUBT.

Take Care

No, obviously you don't know me...& calling my post a "BLANTANT ATTEMPT"..LOL!
Man, if I knew The Score, I wouldn't have asked for the score. My daughter, Fiance, & I just walked in the door & I got on here & asked for a score & you have to jump in my post & try to "Bash on Me" Not cool man. I'm a stand up guy & I think CAROLINA KID & TEXASKID can vouch for me.

I enjoy all your posts. I am just posting exactly what I thought when I read this.

I still believe you knew the score.

Congrats on the win.
