I dont think you earn the best record in baseball by not having a desire to win every single game. If anything they should have more of a desire to win today. This is a series they should expect to get a sweep. Most series you shoot to win 2 of 3. but playing against a team as bad as the pirates this late in the season you dont want to give up a w you know you should have had.

This is CRUNCH time. There is no margin for giving games away. Ask the Padres last year. Sweet Lou has been around long enough to know how important series/games against the teams with the likes of Washington, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, etc...are. More or less, the experienced managers should be pissed off severely when they lose these types of games.
