Hi everybody.

Help is needed and urgent.

To make a long story short. I got little experience in the industry and Im starting tomorrow as Rep for XXX Sportsbook. Offshore. Can't say much or names. I hope you understand.

Anyway. My question is, what do you look for in a bookie? If you were to receive a call to make you place some action how would you like to be treated, talked to, etc?

What NOT to do, with possible players/ customers?

What sites do you guys use to keep an eye on the games, lines, etc..

Once again, I need urgent help as much as you can. Im just a regular guy trying to support my family. Not looking to become a millionaire or scam nobody.

My advice, to go to a gambling forum looking for advice .

Your timing might be bad. With all the legal options now, people are getting out of the bookmaker business. The only people still looking might be people that can't fund their legal accounts for some reason.

A few reasons to still use a local

1) reduce juice, offering -105 instead of -110
2) Credit line, like no need to meet until the balance is $ 1500 either way (or whatever limit your comfortable with). And stop your customer cold turkey until paid when that limit is reached
3) Betting on local teams. I can't bet on UConn or any other Connecticut based team with Draftkings.

I understand your frustration. Such is the nature of internet forums, the world is filled with wannabee comedians in search of captive audiences.

My suggestion would be to read "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. Filled with great insights on how to deal with people.

A classic filled with a goldmine of useful advice helpful in any endeavor one undertakes.

"The Essence of Success" by Earl Nightingale is another treasure trove.

Apply the advice proffered in the above books and live by the "Golden Rule" your chances of succeeding at whatever endeavor you undertake are excelllent.
