Kentucky Derby and Preakness-winning horse Funny Cide headlines the field for the 20th running of the Breeder's Cup Classic Saturday at Santa Anita Park in California.
Funny Cide is listed at eight-to-one odds and will carry jockey Julie Krone. The gelding will have to beat a very strong field that includes last year's champion Volponi with Jose Santos aboard. Santos rode Funny Cide in this year's Triple Crown races, winning the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness, but losing the Belmont.

Last year's runner-up in the Classic, Medaglia d'Oro, is the three-to-one favorite with jockey Jerry Bailey aboard.

Meanwhile the Irish-trained High Chaparral should challenge Storming Home in the Turf race. Storming Home is listed as a five-to-two favorite with High Chaparral at seven-to-two along with Sulami.

The Mile race features Special Ring a six-year-old gelding while American Oaks and Flower Bowl Invitational winner Dimitrova and favorite Islington are featured in the Filly and Mare Turf race.

A total of eight races will be run, with total prize money of more than $14 million available.
