Note: This is a very high line for me to play for Baseball and especially a high one for a road team. But I will play it hard due to a number of reasons, a few of which I will tell. Why are the Angels not winning like last year? Simple. They are not hitting. This team must hit and score well because they just don't have the pitching staff to win games any other way. Their Bullpen was poor last year and once again this year they are experiencing the same occurance. Ervin Santana has had serious problems facing Yankee Bats with a lifetime ERA of 5.5 Runs and already a game this year where he allowed 8 hits, 2 HR's and 5 runs over 5.2 Innings. Because of this, we have the decided pitching advantage here with Burnett, who is in good form. The Yanks have won all 3 of his previous starts, and in fact have won them easily, outscoring opponents 20-10 in the process. After 6 straight wins, NYY lost yesterday on a good throwing performance by the A's. We can expect the Yankees to score runs tonight at this venue, facing a team that is ranked 25th with Bullpen ERA and a Starter that has already allowed 5 Dingers this year. The last time I checked, NYY has some Dinger Type Hitters. I don't know where this line is going, but I do like it the way it is now.
