TOR vs BOS
5* MLB Free Pick Over
The Boston Red Sox and the Toronto Blue Jayus are both in the top third of the MLB for runs scored, and I think we'll see plenty of action over the plate in Friday's series-opener.
R.A. Dickey (1-1, 8.10 ERA) will take the ball for the Jays and he gave up seven runs (six earned) on eight hits and a pair of walks over five innings of an 8-4 home-loss against Boston his last time out. He was 0-3 with a 4.62 ERA in six starts against the division-rival last season and the current Red Sox team is batting .264 over 284 at bats against the knuckleballer.
The Red Sox will turn to Rick Porcello (1-0, 6.00) who gave up four runs on seven hits with a pair of homers over six innings when pitching opposite Dickey last week. Porcello is 5-7 with a 5.35 ERA in 13 career games (12 starts) against Toronto and the current Blue Jays team is batting .282 over 195 at bats against him. Jose Bautista is 13-for-28 with five walks and three homers, two of them is last week's meeting.
Over is 5-0-2 in Dickeys last seven starts overall and over is 4-1-1 in the last six meetings at Fenway Park.
