TOR vs BOS

5* MLB Free Pick Over

The Boston Red Sox and the Toronto Blue Jayus are both in the top third of the MLB for runs scored, and I think we'll see plenty of action over the plate in Friday's series-opener.

R.A. Dickey (1-1, 8.10 ERA) will take the ball for the Jays and he gave up seven runs (six earned) on eight hits and a pair of walks over five innings of an 8-4 home-loss against Boston his last time out. He was 0-3 with a 4.62 ERA in six starts against the division-rival last season and the current Red Sox team is batting .264 over 284 at bats against the knuckleballer.

The Red Sox will turn to Rick Porcello (1-0, 6.00) who gave up four runs on seven hits with a pair of homers over six innings when pitching opposite Dickey last week. Porcello is 5-7 with a 5.35 ERA in 13 career games (12 starts) against Toronto and the current Blue Jays team is batting .282 over 195 at bats against him. Jose Bautista is 13-for-28 with five walks and three homers, two of them is last week's meeting.

Over is 5-0-2 in Dickeys last seven starts overall and over is 4-1-1 in the last six meetings at Fenway Park.

Angels vs Twins

Bonus Play Los Angeles Angels

The Twins have not won a game yet this season and things will be tough for them on Friday as they get Garrett Richards. The Angels ace pitched well enough to get a win in both of his outings, but only got one run of support. The righty went 2-1 with a 2.63 ERA and a WHIP of 1.042 in three starts against Minnesota with one of those wins coming on the road last September. If he can go 7 or 8, the Angels back end of the bullpen can take care of business. Minnesota was hitting .210 as a team entering Thursday's loss which was offensively underwhelming as well. Tom Milone is not very good and was touched up by the Royals last time out. The southpaw didn't even make it five innings giving up four runs and four hits to KC. Milone was shelled last year at home by the Angels allowing five runs in 1.3 innings. Albert Pujols has nine hits in 22 at-bats against the mediocre lefty. The Angels are hitting .260 in their last seven games and have won seven of their last eight on the road in this series. I'll bite and take LAA on the road on Friday.

Giants vs Dodgers

Play - San Francisco w/Bumgarner

Edges - Giants: Madison Bumgarner 9-2 last eleven away team starts during April; and 8-4 last twelve team starts in this park; and 13-6 last nineteen overall away team starts. With Bumgarner out to avenge a right back revenge home loss suffered against Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers last Saturday, we recommend a 1* play on San Francisco. Thank you and good luck as always.
