England +107 (moneyline) 8 units

England's team is not that great but the odds on england are very nice, especially considering most players will be fucked for portugal. They superstar striker Ronaldo left the game with thigh injury and he most likely will miss. If he plays, it would be even worse as he wont be 100% and will slow the game down. Decco is suspended after red card! Defender Costinha is also suspended after red card. Figo might get suspended too before the start of the game because of the head butt incident! England has lot of ok to goo bench players and should pull away with a victory! Final Score 1-0 or 2-0 for England!

Figo will definitely play and Ronaldo is likely to play on Saturday.

The difference in this game will be in the mid-field with England dominating a 2nd choice Portugal mid-field.

The return of Neville is a big boost for England's defense.

I also look for Lampard and Rooney to find the back of the net against Portugal. Both of these players are superstars and you cannot keep them off the score sheet forever.

There is also a big revenge factor as a lot of English players and fans felt that they were cheated on a disallowed goal in Extra Time in the Euro2004 Quarter-Finals against Portugal.

I agree with Dacristo on this one...England is having troubles finding the net so far, and I look for them to struggle against the best team they have faced so far in the tourney.

Revenge aint got nothin' to do with it.

At this stage, it's who wants it most.

I see Portugal is young, restless but quick and mobile, and shows cohesion in their plays.

England controls the tempo, meticulous, calculative in their attacks, and don't play risky, so it's hard to score on them. But then again, the Brits haven't shown their offense either. They have had a hard time getting a goal so, wouldn't the Under 2 be a better play? As well as taking 0.5 points?
