MAC’s Free NBA Prop Play - Miami Heat @ Chicago Bulls
Play: Zach LaVine Over 22.5 Points
Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan will reunite when the Miami Heat face the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night. For years, the two superstars were colleagues with the Toronto Raptors. Lowry with Miami and DeRozan with Chicago are now major players in their debut seasons with new teams.
DeRozan set a season high with 50 points in a 135-130 overtime triumph over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday. He had 17 points in the fourth quarter and another 10 in overtime. It was DeRozan's second 50-point game of his career and his first in almost four years. DeRozan, 32, is averaging 28.0 points per game, which is a career best. He went 17-of-26 from the field in 43 minutes against the Clippers, including 2-of-2 from 3-point range. In a brilliant performance, he made 14 of 15 free throws while adding six assists, five rebounds, one steal, and only two turnovers.
Zach LaVine averages 24.6 points per game, while Nikola Vucevic, a big, averages 18.1 points and 11.2 rebounds a game. Chicago had a 45-32 overall record, with a 27-10 home record. The Bulls, who started the weekend in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings, are attempting to stay in the top six to avoid having to participate in the play-in round to make the playoffs.
Miami (49-28) holds a shaky half-game lead in the East entering into Friday's games. On the road, the Heat are likewise 22-16. Lowry, 36, leads the team in assists (7.5) and is averaging 13.2 points. In Wednesday's 106-98 road win at the Boston Celtics, Lowry posted 23 points, a team-high eight assists and just one turnover in 36 minutes. He made 8-of-16 shots, including 6-of-12 on 3-pointers. Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, and Bam Adebayo are three of the players on the Heat. Butler is Miami's leading scorer (21.3) and steals leader (1.7). Herro is the team's second-leading scorer (20.6), and his 3-point shooting helps to lead Miami's second unit (38.8 percent). Adebayo is the Heat's third-leading scorer (19.0) and first-leading rebounder (10.3).
