Hey all,

I'm new to this forum (just joined today) and I've already seen that I'm going to like this place a lot. I have been betting on sports for a couple of years now with mixed success. My biggest successes normally come in football (for Europeans, soccer for most of you here I suppose).
As I know I will be using your NHL, MLB, NBA, NFL picks etc from time to time I also would like to contribute and share you my soccer picks. I'm not saying you should go to your bookie straight away and place the same bets that I place, that's totally up to you to decide. Perhaps it's a good thing to check out my predictions for a bit and then see if they are useful to you or not.

well let me place my first bets It's a weekend so that means busy times, but that's part of the fun. All odds are BWin odds and I will use the European style (sorry I am not really familiar with the US odds, maybe some day I will find out).

I tend to have a more difficult time predicting a draw than a win, so I normally stake those with less money. When reading my bets, please note the following:

stake 5 = nice playable game, but could go either way
stake 10 = normal bet, should be a winner
stake 15 or higher = easy bet, the higher the easier

Bursaspor vs. Hacettepe, 25 x 1,55 @ Bursaspor
- Bursaspor is 6-2-2 at home while Hacettepe is 0-2-8 away

Manisaspor vs. Malatyaspor, 10 x 1,40 @ Manisaspor

- Feyenoord (my team actually) is struggling big time though Mario Been, NEC's manager will be Feyenoord's manager in the new season. Some players probably want to show some of their skills to him already. Feyenoord's record however is 1-2-7 overall and 2-2-6 away, while NEC is tough to beat at home with their 5-2-3 record.

Well, that was not the best start I could wish for, a louzy day with 10 wins, 17 losses and 1 postponed bet.
I staked $ 475 in these games and got $ 302,85 back, a loss of $ 172,15. From the $ 2.500 I had in stack there's only 2.327,85 left now.
Hopefully some better luck tomorrow, losing from time to time is part of the deal right?

I'm currently working on a big Excel sheet and I have been following pretty much all (European) leagues since I was a lil kid.

If you and/or more people are interested in helping me with this Excel sheet just let me know. I'm happy to share and any additional help is appreciated.

Betting on lower leagues or less known leagues more often gives you better odds, so it's definitely worth studying those.

Arbil was on a 9-1 and 6-0 streak, Al Quwa is third in the league, so not a bad team at all.
