John Roberts, a Fox News anchor, called a recently made public FBI dossier about Joe and Hunter Biden “the big prize” and questioned how it would affect the first family, particularly the president.

“Here it is. This is the big prize, right?” Roberts said Wednesday as he showed the form live on air. “This is form FD -1023 that everybody has been talking about recently. [Iowa GOP Sen.] Chuck Grassley‘s office released it a little while ago. I guess he said, look, this thing’s not classified — I’m gonna put it out there.”


He continued by saying that the findings and information in the document came from a “confidential human source.”

Kimberley Strassel, a Wall Street Journal columnist, told Roberts that the study was “very detailed.”
“And I think it is incumbent on the FBI to at least explain what steps were taken to either verify or debunk it,” she said.
Some left-leaning media outlets, such as Mediaite, have observed that the FBI has stated that information in FD-1023s can include “raw, unverified reporting from confidential human sources.”
But the FBI has repeatedly used the whistleblower since the Obama administration and regards him as “highly credible” given the allegations made by Republicans that Joe Biden participated in corrupt “pay-for-play” schemes while serving as vice president.

According to the source, who has been identified as a “FBI confidential human source…used by the bureau in multiple investigative matters dating back to” Barack Obama’s two years in office, the former vice president “was involved in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national.”

The publication reported in early June that Grassley and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) had recently been contacted by a whistleblower who claimed that the FBI had an FD-1023 form dated June 30, 2020, which allegedly contained explicit information provided by a trusted source.

The source claims that the dossier details claims that Biden engaged in a $5 million illegal bribery plot while serving as vice president. Fox News noted that the strategy allegedly involves a foreign national and sought to gain control over political decisions.

According to a person with knowledge of the situation, the anonymous source who gave the FBI the information about Biden is a “pre-existing” FBI source who has been used in other investigations unconnected to the one involving Biden, Fox News Digital reported on Friday.

The same source also disclosed to the site that the FBI had been using the private human source for “at least several years” before to the creation of the FD-1023 form documenting the Biden claims in June 2020.

The source also participated in various investigations carried out during the Obama administration and was “consistently reviewed by the FBI,” where it was “found to be highly credible.”


“We know the FBI has very serious allegations against then-Vice President Biden. The question is, what did they do with it? Did they investigate the leads or sweep it under the rug?” said a spokesman for Grassley in an interview with Fox News.

“This is exactly why we need transparency into the document and what the FBI did with it? That’s what Sen. Grassley has sought from the start,” the spokesman added.

“We are not out to get the FBI. We’re out to change the culture of the FBI at headquarters,” Grassley said in a recent interview.
