This is unprecedented for a site to be down this long. Since I have been wagering in PA or NJ only Tipico has had an issue like this but they have a very small presence in the US. Fox which was Pokerstars was one of the first books online books to open in NJ. Wonder if it is a ransomware attack. I have a sizable balance at Fox almost mid 4 figures. I can see my balance but you can't access anything else. Just the splash screen that says down for maintenance. What would they do if this happened next weekend. These sites are required by the states to have back-ups of back-ups. I read on another site they have cancelled poker tournaments till Monday so this sounds like another day at least.
Still down at 11am EST. Just unbelievable. As I said it has be ransomware. Even if they had to rebuild their entire database it wouldn't take this long. The states where Fox is operating should at least come out with a statement. Customers are questioning their integrity. As this goes on it is creating a black eye for legal sports betting industry.
My cousin plays with them & he said they havent given any site credit for being down several days......thats insane imo. I told him to leave that book, plenty of good books out here.
They are up in NJ. They are offering a $5 Bonus Bet for Super Bowl. Bet365 gave me a free $50 Super Bowl bet and two $20 bets on the championship games. I am really surprised at Fox not giving at least $25 to everyone for their inconvenience. I find a couple of good boosts there a week so I'm keeping my account but they really should throw a bone to customers who weren't able to place a wager for 5 days.
