It was posted last year that there has never been a team that loses a conference championship game that comes back the following year an win in a championship game.I believe it's now 0-27. Atlanta will win if history again repeats itself.

Top 5 rushing offenses in the NFL this year: ATL, PIT, NYJ, DEN, KC.

PHI was #16 in rushing defense.

Part of this was PHI usually played with a lead, and so forced opps to pass, but PIT put up 252 rushing yards on them.

Still think PHI can win, but not a gimme especially without TO.

I think NFC games are a bit harder to cap because there are many more factors to be taken into account.

22nd in pass defense. 22nd.

The Eagles have NO offense or defense ranked that poorly AND since Trotter and Rayburn have been introduced into larger roles in the defense (especially Jeremiah) they have allowed 83.4 ypg on the ground (I believe...may have to double check that number).

Eagles will win this game. Let's go to Jacksonville!

Someone (sorry, I forgot who) posted a statement last week that teams who rely on a rushing QB making broken plays seem to run out of luck in the playoffs. This seems like the case with Vick. Philly pretty much handled the high-powered, BALANCED Vikings offense, it looks like they have a good shot to limit Vick's scrambling and force him and the league's 30th ranked pass offense to make plays on the road. Doesn't look good for the Falcons.

The better defense usually wins big games. I think the Eagles defense is better. Atlanta's offense is one dimensional, IMO.
