This latest cluster with the confidential documents is a complete unforced error. Trump should have given the documents back when he was asked nicely. Now this can of worms over the documents, not to mention the January 6 hearings, election interference, Georgia state electors scheme, what did I miss....... no matter how you try to frame it (ie lipstick on a pig), Trump keeping highly classified documents unsecured and illegally doesn't look good. It has degraded his image and reputation further. It's put American lives and interests at risk.
