The Judiciary Investigative Police (OIJ), confirmed the discovery of a body at the Hotel Del Rey, a known sexual tourism hot spot located in downtown San Jose.
OIJ received the call alerting them of the situation at around 7 a.m. this Thursday morning, after a member of the cleaning staff entered the room to find the dead man.
This is the second foreigner found dead this year in this same hotel, the last case was reported back on January 25
The cause of death and the circumstances under which the incident occurred are currently under investigation, the body showed no signs of violence.
