I lost 3500 dealing with a scamdicapper that said a bunch of lies which I of course ate up and didn't realize I'd been ripped off until it was too late. My question is if I follow an NBA handicapper here on the forum and play small like 75 or 50 per game would that be something I could climb out of the hole I'm in with. Has anyone else had any sucess following any of the people on this site in hockey or nba? Thanks.

In NBA do a SEARCH for Procapper, he's been right around 80% for the year.... Can't help you with the Hockey part. If you manage your money correctly you should be able to regroup, it may take a little time but can be done.
Good Luck!

Take your time and read the sports forums and get a feel for who is being followed, NEVER follow anyone who uses wild variances in UNIT VALUE, no one should use more than a 1-5 * UNIT system ...Another way is to read the analysis and come up with your own selections using the info you read here.

The Tracker forum is also a nice place to check out posters who are tracked every day.

Just be careful when you follow, even very good cappers here can go through good and bad periods. Best of luck to you and hope you can work you're way back to break even.

no
disrespect to anyone that post their selections

but you would have an easier time just fading (against) many posters

By fading you mean not playing the poster's picks?

fading someone is playing the opposite side of their picks. So if they hit 43%, you hit 57%!

You seriously do that. I know it's a coin flip but I was just kinda hoping that someone out there knew more about games than I and I could follow someone. When I found the forum I thought it would be a good investment opportunity rather than more of this :nohead: .

jCutler I have been here for a long time

It is very hard to make money following someone blindly

and what I stated before is true, more times than not they lose

If I had to give you names on who to follow on this board

Can't believe nobody has mentioned

spreadbeater

Everyone here seems to love that guy, like literally they are in love with the sex and all. Havn't followed him personally.

That's the prime reason you should not just follow one capper. Every capper will have losing times. If you follow multiple proven cappers you should do OK. When I say proven I mean cappers that have had success over multiple years.

So would you say if I follow spreadbeater, procapper, johnnyCap, skinsraj, and ace ace that I should balance out and win consistently. I'm not sure but judging by the replys I assume they have been proven year in and year out. When two good cappers contradict one another do you ussaully lay off or just bet on your own insticts? Like tonight one has the spurs and two have the mavs.

Just keep in mind that at $50 per game, assuming you can hit 55% which is VERY GOOD. You will need to bet about 1200 games to get your money back. Not saying you cant do it, but dont expect it will happen overnight.
