They didn’t get the job done for us last week, but the Boston Bruins are still a bargain as –240 home faves for Game 5 of their first-round series with the Florida Panthers. Boston swept both games in Miami after dropping Game 2, setting up the potential series-clincher at home this Wednesday; the Bruins have outscored Florida 16-11 thus far, including 13-5 in their three victories.
The only real question for the B’s was whether they’d stick with Linus Ullmark (.938 save percentage during the regular season), or keep alternating with backup Jeremy Swayman (.920 SV%). Boston wisely chose the former; Ullmark rebounded from that Game 2 loss with back-to-back quality starts to put his team on the brink of the second round.
