school started around here last monday,,,,We always went back day after labor day too....Rainy and dreary here, great day to start school...a real mood setter,lol.

I looked forward to study hall so I could go to the library, and read the sports section in USA today.

Because of the military, we had kids from all over. I kept teasing my friend Rodney from Detroit that Rick Mahorn was a chump. This was when the Pistons were just about to break into their championship ways. He took me so serious. He was like "Why?, Because what he said about Mark Eaton being white?" lol

I hooked school in 6th grade, that was pretty early for a kids fist day of hookie...I still remember that day vivedly...I had to walk the neighhborhood til my mother left for work.
