He went in liberal news networks hundreds of times and told the world he's seen the evidence of Trump's Russian Collusion. Hence he tried to overturn a duly elected president. He was never challenged, and he never produced any evidence
I guess even he would have a plausible defense. That being he believed all the lies he sold. He relied on and believed misguided intelligence reports.
I think he's full of shit. But in the courts, all he has to do is prove reasonable doubt.
The founding fathers would hang him in public. They wouldn't even give him the "honor" of a firing squad.
Having said all that, if he can't be convicted, if he can raise reasonable doubt, my guess is everyone else would be a lot harder to convict.
Trump won, that's his vindication, now impose Trump's policies and MAGA.
