That's my point. If you are thinking "up to 25" then you shouldn't be laying -115 on OVER 21. Dude, lay off it, trust me. This is what separates those of us who do it for a living and make a profit, from the degenerate gamblers who do it for the "rush."

but, I'm starting to doubt it will hit even 24 just because no one really has thrown a number out that is that high. But everyone was wrong with Bruce Almighty. This just looks like a movie that has to make 20 million to me, regardless of the theater counts. If you live in a heavily populated area, and one theater is playing the movie you want to see, you usually just drive the extra few miles to see that movie. Sometimes I have fealt that I would have been better off if I didn't research the bet at all and just went with my personal instincts. I'm just hoping this is one of those times. I'm going to take both overs and see what happens, I figure one of them at least will probably go over. Remember the last time you said my play was that of a degenerate gambler? Sure there's more risk involved in these but I feel better about them than taking say, the Spurs tonight.

theater report:
"Finding Nemo SOLD OUT at 10:30 AM Showing

Varied audience of all ages - toddlers, kids, teens, grown-ups, seniors. Croud clapped at the end. I thought it was on par with A Bug's Life. I'd give it a B+

Trailers were:

Good Boy - Kids laughed, everyone else groaned
Spy Kids 3-D - Excitement with the kids
Johnny English - Laughs
The Incredibles - Laughs"

I saw another one from a dude from New York who walked around to the different theaters downtown, he said they seemed surprisingly empty although he didn't go inside.

Another one for Italian Job from northern Kentucky in a theater that seats 143, said there were 11 people in it.

Just thought I'd throw something in...Italian Job looks really routine and inane, and I seriously doubt it makes it past the teens this weekend. Marky Mark is not, and never will be, a movie star.

Where do you get these theater reports?
At HSX? Where do you go?

Let me know, bud.

I don't think you can count your Bruce +7mil over Nemo a win, because, I think that they are using Bruce's THREE day numbers, not it's FOUR day numbers, and, if that's the case, you could very easily lose this.

You're right, I thought Bruce did 70, not 67 it's openening weekend... They both had almopst exactly the same friday numbers, but Nemo will surely do better Saturday and Sunday. Might be close. Nemo could still do 75, but it's still somewhat unlikely, I hope. Mojo just put up his projection and has Nemo at 70.5, IJ at 19.5 , (LOL you nailed that one)

, so I think I'm probably going to win. It could still surprise today, of course.
