What is FOX Sports 1?
FOX Sports 1 is a new national 24-hour multi-sport cable channel being launched by FOX on August 17, 2013. Is FOX Sports 1 replacing FOX Sports where I watch the NFL on my local FOX channel?
Absolutely not. FOX Sports 1 isn't replacing FOX Sports on broadcast TV, it's a new cable channel that is going to enhance and supplement it. In fact, in the first 18 months of FOX Sports 1's launch, FOX Sports via your local FOX station, will carry NFL regular season games, playoffs and Super Bowl XLVIII, regular season MLB, the All-Star Game and World Series, NASCAR Sprint Cup races including the Daytona 500, Saturday night college football, the Big Ten and Pac-12 football championship games and big UFC cards.

How will FOX Sports 1 be different from the other sports networks I get?
Over the past several years, we have acquired or renewed rights agreements with entities like the FIFA World Cup, MLB, NASCAR, NFL, UFC and collegiate conferences like the Big Ten, Big 12, Big East, Conference USA, Pac-12, and soccer leagues around the world to develop a full, robust programming schedule. FOX Sports 1 will have nearly 5,000 hours of live event, news and original programming annually.

Will I be able to get FOX Sports 1 on my TV?
FOX Sports 1 will debut on Saturday, August 17th, with every major distributor on board, making this the biggest sports cable network launch in history. To find the channel listing for FOX Sports 1 on your system, please use the 'Find FOX Sports 1 on your TV' module at the top of this page.

Will I have to pay more for FOX Sports 1?
For the overwhelming number of viewers who subscribe to a cable, satellite or telephone company video service, FOX Sports 1 will likely be included in your expanded basic level of service at launch.

What can I do if I don't get FOX Sports 1 on August 17?
We would suggest that you place a call to your TV provider and let them know that you'd really like to have FOX Sports 1 included in your basic package.

What sports will FOX Sports 1 televise?
FOX Sports 1 has seven pillar sports: college basketball and football, MLB (in 2014), NASCAR, NFL (ancillary programs), soccer and UFC. FOX Sports 1 boasts nearly 5,000 hours of live event, news and original programming annually and that number will continue to grow. College football on FOX Sports 1 is highlighted by regular season coverage of Big 12, Pac-12 and Conference USA games. FOX Sports 1 carries dozens of exclusive prime time college basketball games from the Big East, Big 12, Pac-12 and Conference USA and the network is home to the Big East men's basketball tournament. Starting in 2014, select MLB League Championship Series and Division Series games as well as regular season games are coming to FOX Sports 1. FOX Sports 1 also carries select NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events beginning 2015; NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races; the NASCAR Sprint All-Star race; and all SpeedWeeks, including Daytona 500 Qualifying, Sprint Unlimited at Daytona, (2014, 2017-22) the Budweiser Duel, and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NCWTS Practice and Qualifying sessions. Additionally, FOX Sports 1 carries NASCAR RaceDay, NASCAR Victory Lane and Race Hub shows. Soccer is highlighted on FOX Sports 1 with the world's most prolific club soccer competitions, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League and CONCACAF Champions League. FOX Sports 1 carries the world's oldest soccer competition, the FA Cup; CONCACAF Gold Cup; CONCACAF Qualifiers, FIFA Women's World Cup coverage in 2015 and 2019; FIFA Men's World Cup coverage in 2018 and 2022. UFC is also a core programming pillar. In addition to Saturday pay-per-view preliminary cards, Wednesday nights are home to the UFC with UFC Tonight, live events and The Ultimate Fighter.

What happens to SPEED programming when FOX Sports 1 launches?
FOX Sports continues its major commitment to motorsports programming with top-level NASCAR events, including NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races; popular programs like NASCAR RaceDay, NASCAR Victory Lane and NASCAR RaceHub; events from around the world, including Monster Energy Supercross; MotoGP World Championship; the ARCA Racing Series; the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans; and the popular Barrett-Jackson Collector Car auctions on a FOX channel.

Will FOX Sports 1 have a news show?
Yes. Airing nightly at 11:00 PM ET, FOX SPORTS LIVE, is FOX Sports 1's flagship 24/7 news, opinion and highlights program, providing around the clock coverage through regularly scheduled programs, hourly updates and an information rich ticker. Former No. 1 ranked men's tennis player in the world, Andy Roddick serves as a co-host, while highlights are primarily handled by Jay Onrait and Dan O'Toole, a popular anchor team formerly of TSN's SportsCentre, Canada's most-watched sports news program. In addition, sportscasters Don Bell and Ryan Field serve as anchors, with Molly McGrath and Julie Stewart-Binks contributing as update desk and breaking news correspondents. FOX SPORTS LIVE debuts Saturday, August, 17.

Is Regis Philbin hosting a show on FOX Sports 1?
Yes! CROWD GOES WILD is an original, and completely unpredictable, new live sports entertainment talk show. Originating from New York City, iconic broadcaster Regis Philbin and a panel of sports professionals, celebrity guests and die-hard fans put their unique spin on the biggest stories from the worlds of sports, entertainment and beyond beginning August 19. CROWD GOES WILD airs weekdays from 5:00-6:00 PM ET.

What other shows are planned?
FOX FOOTBALL DAILY, an extension of FOX NFL SUNDAY, airs from 6:00-7:00 PM ET Monday-Friday. The show will provide the latest news and commentary on the NFL and college football, and will feature FOX Sports favorites like Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Jay Glazer, Gus Johnson, Erin Andrews and Mike Pereira. Our groundbreaking documentary series BEING: also continues. The latest edition coming this fall will feature Mike Tyson, the most feared man ever to step into a boxing ring.

Did I hear that The Ultimate Fighter is moving to FOX Sports 1?
Yes, you did. The Ultimate Fighter, UFC's signature reality series, moves to FOX Sports 1 when it returns in September. The series, featuring Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate as coaches, will run on Wednesday evenings at 10:00 PM ET where it anchors FOX Sports 1's prime time UFC programming block. Season 18 of The Ultimate Fighter premieres Wednesday, Sept. 4 (10:00 PM ET).

If FOX Sports 1 will have major soccer programming, what does the future hold for FOX Soccer?
FOX Sports has made a commitment to bringing fans great soccer coverage through agreements with the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, FA Cup, Gold Cup, National Women's Soccer League, the newly created Guinness International Champions Cup, and many others. Regardless of whether the games and highlights are on FOX Sports 1, FOX Soccer or any of our other services, you will see the finest action on a Fox outlet.

Found it....if they really wanted to shake shit up they should've told UFC to bring a better main event tonight.

big title fight on free TV rather than 2 old dudes that aren't even really in the title picture.

All around great free card tho. The main isnt great but chael gets viewers and there are some other awesome match-ups.

undercards don't sell fights, get ratings...They should've gone hard with a title main event for the first night on FS1.

I think the Chael luster has wornoff a little, haven't had 1 person ask me about this fight...

I mean I'll watch and it is a good card but if FS1 was serious about challenging ESPN they should've just paid UFC a little extra for a better card. Even Pettis/Benson would've sufficed. I mean really unless your a hardcore MMA fan or betting on it, who cares who wins this ME? Both guys are on the way down...

I agree on the ME, but the card from top to bottom is the best in quite awhile, and it isn't going unnoticed. I will say this about Fox Sports 1....So far, they are repping MMA for what it truly is, a great sport that deserves great coverage...

It isn't going unnoticed to you and people you know who like MMA but Sonnen/Rua isn't going to bring the casual fans in on a saturday night in the last few weeks of summer. Better ME just seems like a total no brainer to me, just like Cain/JDS to kick things off on FOX.

It doesn't need to, it's Free. This Channel is here to stay, and has nothing to prove with just tonight. Their overall coverage of MMA is top notch already in just the short time I've watched so far...

Of course the channel is here to stay, sports programming on TV is a goldmine right now. However if they wanted to make a big splash from the start they would have a better ME tonight.

And correct, Both ME fighters are on there way out, but Chael sells tickets still, and Rua was one of the best fighters to watch in Pride back in the day. With that said, I don't even think Chael cares if he wins the fight, and that's not who you want as a ME, but I am stoked about the card tonight. I'm pulling double duties tonight though as my boy from my gym fights for a CFFC Title toight in NJ.

No splash needed. Just glad to see it as a non-PPV card, because lately the PPV's haven't lived up to the hype. The big splash will come next when they go the mid-week Fight Night on Wed card. That, I am a huge fan of. Love Bellator mid-week, and now UFC to boot. Smooth move...

I agree with you to an extent, pats. However I'd also say any title under 170 isn't cared about by the casual fan much either. And at this point, they'll save the heavier titles for ppv. So who is the biggest non-title draw above 170? Probably still chael.
